- Options Wood Interchangeable Knitting Needle Set - US 4-11 (Radiant)

I have a bunch of the metal knitting needles and they’re good, they do the job and they’re long enough for all my projects so far but I have heard, from other knitters, that wood ones were even better and I wanted to try them out since I had a lot of times when my work just slipped right off the metal ones. These are fantastic. They’re a beautiful color and quality. I chose the color “Caspian”. They don’t snag, they’re very smooth but they hold the work so it doesn’t slide off when you’re not expecting it. They’re much shorter than the metal needles but they come with the part to make them circular or longer if you use the plastic disk on the end instead of attaching both ends to the needles. There is a little metal key included so when you attach the circular portion you tighten them with the key otherwise they will unscrew constantly as you’re working. These are comfortable to hold and use even for a long time. The tip is very fine so it can get into tight stitches. The little pouch they come in is great for storing and keeping everything organized. There is a good variety of sizes that so far I have always had the size I needed. They have not splintered or cracked. I’m trying to find projects and excuses to knit so I can use them more. I would buy these again if I can find different sizes or if I needed more for any reason. I would also give these as a gift, I’m confident someone else would love these as much as I do.

These are not only beautiful to look at but also to touch! Assembly was easy - I am concerned about the possibility of over tightening but I will update if that ends up being a problem. I am a serious beginner and would not normally spend so much on tools for a hobby I was so new to but I was disappointed with metal options and the wooden ones I purchased at the craft store had some defects that are quite a nuisance when working the yarn. I’ll update if there are any defects that come about (outside of user error) but I am feeling hopeful I won’t have a negative thing to say even a couple of months from now.

I have been knitting for about a year and I finally feel like I have smooth, sharp, fun needles. My project is flying off my needles. I wish I bought these first. The color and pattern are so beautiful. I love how I have several size options and how easy they are to use.

I absolutely LOVE these needles! I also own the nickel plated ones, as well as other, more expensive brands, but I bought these after getting a size 7 and a 40" cable with a Knit Picks order for $1.99. I wanted needle with a sharper point for lace work and the size 7 I got was perfect! My husband (who is a carpenter with a HUGE collection of tools) asked why I needed more and more needles in the same size. I explained that I sometimes have 3 or 4 projects, all using a size 8 or I prefer certain needles for certain yarns or projects. I love nickel plate for the fuzzy mohair, sort of sticky yarns or cottons. I like the carbon fiber for the slippery silks and the pointy wood for the wool lace or cabling. These are also interchangeable with Knitter's Pride Needles and cables. Though price is what originally sold me on these needles, the added bonus of Knit Picks Interchangeables is the tiny hole that is used with a little key to tight the needle tip to the cable. This tiny hole can be used to thread dental floss through to install a lifeline as you knit, saving you the hassle of installing separately. If you have not tried this, do! There are, I am sure videos on You Tube to show you how. If you knit lace, lifelines are invaluable and this method of installing them is brilliant! I use interchangeable almost exclusively, no matter if I am knitting in the round or flat. I use Magic Loop for hats and socks, so I rarely need a small cable or double points. What I love about Knit Picks is they make very high quality products for a very reasonable price, so I can rationalize 2 sets of their needles rather than one set of Hiya Hiyas or Addis and not give up anything. Same goes for their yarns. Why buy Cascade 220 for $10/100 grams, when I can buy Knit Picks Wool of the Andes, which is almost identical and has the same huge choice of color ways for about $7/100 grams? Not a huge difference for a one or two ball project, but it is if you are making a sweater. I have never had a single problem with a Knit Picks product, but I know they will replace anything if I do. Their customer service department responds right away to any questions I've had, so I feel confident that a return would be hassle-free. I have rarely found a company that I have loved as much as I do Knit Picks for quality products and services, including awesome tutorials, blogs and other inspiration, so I am happy to recommend them to anyone who knits or crochets or in contemplating either or both!

Nice and sharp, but the 5.5 size needle laminate split on one side after a few hours of knitting. Snagged the yarn and then the small bit tore from the needle. Will be hard to fix and have it still look nice- both the project and the needle. First needle I used from the set so I’m disappointed. Editing my review - the team immediately sent a replacement and even asked what colorway I would like if the initial one wasn’t available. They were friendly and I was surprised they offered to send a replacement as I had only asked if the defect was common! Haven’t had issues with any of the other needles in the set, as well.

Very nice needles

This set is amazing. I wish I would have bought this set first instead of wasting money on other circular needles that are poor quality. The wood has the perfect balance of slip and grip. The tips are the perfect shape to easily get into the stitch but not so pointy it stabs you. The cables unkink easily without using hot water and yarn does not get caught where the cable and needles meet.

These are hit and miss. I like the shape but the wood on at least one pair is splitting and catching my yarn. Wrote to knitpicks...Will see how their customer service is. UPDATE! CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING. SENT ME NEW SET OF NEEDLES. I DO LOVE KNITTING WITH THEM!!

I was hesitant about getting interchangeable needles for a project I wanted to start, but I’m glad I went for it. These needles are easy to change out, are secure, and come with many different sizes, making them worth it in both money and space saving. They are smooth even over the connection so the yarn doesn’t catch and so far they’ve held up well.

Absolutely amazing fantastic product. Great to knit a fair isle sweater

هذه الابر ممتاز للمبتدئين والمحترفين تجي في كيس بلاستيك جميل يحفظها ، يبدا الحجم من 3.5mm الى اكبر مقاس8.0mm , يجي مع المجموعة احبال بلاستيك لكن جوده ممتازه اربع قطع مع احجام مختلفه ، انصح اللي يبا يتوسع في احجام الحبال يشتري القطع الاضافيه بالمقاسات المتعددة، يوجد من نفس المجموعه ابرا قصيرة ب احجام مختلفه ، الخشب جوده جيده تمنع الانزلاق وجيده جدا للمبتدئ في الحياكة .

I have been using the smallest size needles being 3.5mm. The joins are beautifully smooth and do not come undone easily. I find that my arthritic hands are more comfortable using these light cubic needles. The yarn does not catch on the joins and glides along smoothly. So far I am exceedingly happy with this set. I have checked that all the needles can be attached to the cables. The needles can be attached to swivel cables from a different popular brand but the join is not quite as smooth so I have not used them that way. I am happy with their performance with their own cables which do not swivel.

Einfach praktisch und gut. Für ordentliche und schnelle Handhabung ist dieses Set für jede Strickerin ein Muss! Die Nadelspitzen mit den Seilen sind qualitativ sehr gut und einfach zu handhaben.
