Loved the results , but does anyone know how long the horrible smell lasts? I've washed my hair twice since but still smells bad

I did mine a couple of days ago and the smell is mostly gone now. I used a baking soda and water mix, kept it on for a couple of hours, then washed it. I used head and shoulders shampoo, and also used a nice smelling hair food to help get rid of the smell. Doesn't smell at all when dry now.

Would this tone down dyed dark ginger hair back to my cooler strawberry blonde?

It turns dyed dark hair orange! I haven't found a product that will take you back to your normal colour.
