Literally makes my job so much easier. I use these to cut double sided, thick, adhesive strips and it makes it snip so smoothly. Before I was struggling with my scissors since the adhesive would stick to the blades but now? I can process over 100 signs in 30 minutes. It doesn’t stick, and if it does, it pops right off. It is wonderful. They are also sharp and durable.

I didn’t have much faith in scissors that professed to be “non-stick”, but decided to try them anyway. I am very pleasantly surprised that these actually do cut through sticky things without hardly any residue sticking to the blades! It’s pretty amazing. Specifically, I am using them to cut hydrocolloidal dressings (bandages) to the sizes I need. I’m working on trying to reduce the appearance of a couple of scars (tried the “silicone scar tape”—it’s too thin, and the edges curl up and get dirty, they fall off, etc.—Hydrocolloidal is the way to go!) The small sized bandages are very expensive; it’s much cheaper to buy a pack of good (0.5mm thick) 4x4 inch ones and cut them to size. Using my regular Fiskars scissors was frustrating as I was always having to clean the blades with alcohol to remove the residue. After accidentally and carelessly cutting myself once in the process of trying to clean them, I decided to try these and am glad I did. They work great for this purpose. I’ve used these several times a week for a few months now and haven’t needed to clean them yet! I’ve found that cutting the ends rounded instead of squared-off really helps to keep the bandage stuck on longer, instead of it curling up at the corners. Trying to “round the corners” with regular scissors caused a lot of sticky gunk to adhere to the blades. I am very happy with these. I keep mine in the bathroom so I haven’t really used them on paper or anything other than these bandages and tape, both scotch and medical. I’m left handed but my whole life have used my right hand with scissors, as there were never any lefty ones available in my kindergarten (50 years ago…), so I just learned to cut with my right hand. They claim they are “ambidextrous”, but they do not appear that way to me (they’re better than trying to use “regular” right handed scissors, but they don’t cut quite as well with your left hand, sorry to say). I’ve never found a pair of “ambidextrous” scissors that worked well left handed, unfortunately. However, you are looking for scissors that are sharp and actually cut through adhesives without getting residue stuck to the blade—these are it!

So far I am very happy with these scissors. They are sharp and well priced.

My hands are small and I hate scissors with big handles that I have to constantly regrip while working. This pair of scissors is created for average size hands, but it is still comfortable for me to grip not overly loose. Also the edge is very sharp, I can simply glide it through threads to cut them like shown in my video. The only minor issue is the tip is a bit thick, and blades are a bit wider than I like it, so I cannot go into small gap easily. But overall, it is very good in quality, and I'm happy with the performance. Especially if it is on sale, with coupon, or new but repackaged, it is very worth the money.

I use 3M VHB 4910 very high bonding double sided tape for many uses. With its high sticky strength, cutting the tape will also stick to the blades. I have to move the scissor away to free from it, and thus cause the flexible tape to gum up = a mess. With this scissor, a cut is exactly a cut, the tape is seperated and no sticky mess. Highly recommended if you want a truely non-stick clean cut of VHB double sided tape.
