Giantex Washing Machine works great
Great machine that works quite well. It’s washes clothes good, and spin’s them dry so they’re not dripping wet. It fits in the corner of my restroom where it lives permanently now. User friendly and easy to understand. It’s convenient so you can move it around if need be. As far as it being loud, it’s not too noisy but you can hear it working. Love my washing machine

Great Machine Overall With A Few Minor Design Issues To Overcome
I want to give this machine 4.5 stars but that isn't a choice. Overall, the machine is great but it definitely had a learning curve for me and I am usually very handy. I also have a few concerns about some of the other reviews, which I relied heavily on with making a decision to purchase this unit. It came packaged securely and was easy to assemble the bottom panel. Like other viewers, I did vacuum out all the loose Styrofoam pieces so they wouldn't later end up inside the parts of the machine somehow. As soon as I unpacked the machine and got it ready to install to my kitchen faucet with the Danco 10512 Garden Hose Adapter, 55/64-Inch 27 Female x 3/4-in GHTM, Chrome which I purchased based on another reviewer suggestion, I found this 10512 adapter did not sit very deep and securely into the water inlet hose. It fit perfectly onto my faucet but due to a smaller end that goes into the hose and the way the hose is designed, it was almost impossible to connect to the hose. So off to the local hardware store I go to find a more suitable adapter. This adapter Danco 10513 Danco 10513 15/16"-27M / 5/64"-27F X 3/4" GHTM or 55/64"-27M Multi-Thread Garden Hose Aerator Adaptor, Chrome (see photo) works so much better and seals tightly to both the hose and the kitchen faucet. Hooked the machine up and ran a short wash with a tiny bit of liquid detergent and a quick rinse to get the pungent smell out of the machine (hopefully). The drain hose u-shaped elbow device that is meant to hang the drain hose over the sink was useless on my kitchen sink because my sink is not at the very edge of the counter top but sits back a little further. The u-shaped elbow is not very large allowing it to hang into my sink as designed. Therefore, I removed the u-shaped elbow and just tied the drain hose to the water inlet hose with twist ties. (see photo) I will eventually try to find something to easily clamp/unclamp the drain hose to the water hose when in use or just use a zip tie to hold them together to ensure the hose doesn't go flying out of the sink when draining and spinning. Everything looked fine, so I grabbed some laundry. Some of the other reviewers may be exaggerating a little about how much you can actually fit into this machine and expect it to be cleaned properly. I was able to fit maybe a 1/3 to 1/2 of a load that would fit into a normal older style top loading machine, which is fine for me since I am single. Then starts the issue of water flowing onto my floor and I was not pleased with that. My floor is tile so it was really no big deal except that it was a lot of water and pretty inconvenient. This didn't happen the first time I ran the rinse cycle mentioned above so needless to say I was concerned. After some tedious troubleshooting, I figured out what the issue was. I have really strong water pressure and if the water pressure is on too strong, the water tends to go into the machine too fast and erratic and drip onto the lip of the top of the tub. (see photos) The lip is not very thick and the water was filling up the drain hole at the top of the tub faster than it could drain back into the tub, hence overflowing onto my floor. I think Giantex could make this lip around the top of the tub a little thicker/higher to avoid this from happening so easily. After resolving this issue by turning my water pressure way lower and allowing the machine to fill slower, all was good. The clothes washed great and the rinse and spin cycles are wonderful. The clothes came out damp and not sopping wet. I then tried to wash my queen size sheets and found that I really only felt comfortable washing the flat and fitted sheets together with no pillowcases or even better yet, wash the flat sheet separately with 2 of my pillowcases and the fitted sheet separately with my other 2 pillowcases. It just seemed to be overloaded with the entire sheet set in the machine. I think I read someone saying they could fit a quilt into this machine, but I don't see that happening. I ended up doing about 6 additional loads and everything works seamlessly now. I haven't washed towels yet so I am not sure how many bath towels will fit in a single wash. However, I did run a second spin cycle on one load and the clothes came out even more dry than before, which would probably work great for towels or heavier items that take a long time to dry. Lastly, I also purchased this appliance dolly, Stalwart Adjustable Sized Telescopic Furniture Dolly Roller which I read fits perfectly. Au contraire mon ami! The smallest this dolly would go was still almost too large for the machine to set on without falling through the middle. I have a very small apartment and need the dolly to be exactly the same size as the washer. I took a hacksaw and shortened all four rods to the length needed to allow the dolly to shrink and fit snugly under the machine. Now all is great and the washer on the dolly fits snugly in its resting place and still fits under my countertop. Overall, I am extremely happy with this washer after doing about 7 loads of laundry thus far. My suggestions would be to do more research on the adapters to fit your specific faucet because it would appear the provided water hose will not fit any sink in the USA - maybe if you are hooking it to a regular washing machine/laundry hookup, it would work fine. Also, do not turn the water pressure on full blast unless your floors need to be mopped and then you can just kill two birds with one stone. Haha! Additionally, if you want to purchase a dolly, try to find one that will shrink to a smaller size more suited for this machine unless you have a hacksaw to shorten the poles on the model mentioned above. Very much a happy camper with my little R2D2 washing machine (see photo) save the few insignificant and minor design flaws. I hope this washer lasts a long time and makes me proud.

It has exceeded my expectations, so far
1 YEAR, 3 MONTH UPDATE: Works perfectly, NO problems yet( hope I'm not jinxing it). Best Amazon find in a looong time! Original Review: I moved to a little condo that doesn't have a washer/dryer hookup and has an abysmal laundry room, so I needed a small washer that can tuck away in a tiny linen closet, required NO washer hookup, and could run on a standard electric outlet. This seemed like the best one... ARRIVAL, HOOKUP: The washer arrived without issue, and as per other reviews, it needed a special adapter to hook it up to my sink. The adapter included didn't work for me, but I was proactive and bought 2 different adapters and returned the extra one that was not needed. I kept the adapter that allows for easy on/off, so I can still use my sink in between washes. (Danco 10521 Dual Thread Dishwasher Snap Coupling Adapter, 15/16-27 X 55/64-27 Male, 1.5 Gpm). The duel thread seems to be where others have gone wrong. It was pretty easy to hook up otherwise. MOBILITY: It's lightweight, so I can move it alone, but I need a dolly for it long term. It was too small for the small furniture dolly I bought through Amazon, so keep size in mind when looking. NOISE: It isn't super loud at all. When I shut the bathroom door, I can't hear it at all. I posted a video of noise levels and spin speed. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: The water intake hose is kind of short, as is the electric cord, so you might need an extension cord as well. WASHING QUALITY: As for the washing function, I'm shocked at how well it cleans! I researched portable washers, and I was fully prepared for mediocre wash and poor spin, but this little thing is actually a real washer (minus all the extra settings, of course). The clothes are as clean, or cleaner than the laundry mat, and the spin cycle really spins excellently, nearly dry. Super impressed with the job it's doing with my clothes! It has a function that allows you to soak, wash, rinse, and spin, either independently, as a set of 2 functions, 3, or all functions. So it's basic, but still a real washer. UPDATE 10/9/24: This is a warning about a sharp edge inside the machine. I posted a picture of a rim on the inside that is coated in black. That isn't mold, it's remnants of my bra after it shredded it. My bra floated to the top of a level (H) wash, and as it went into the spin cycle, it shredded it. A picture of it is also posted. BE CAREFUL OF FULL LOADS WITH LIGHTWEIGHT ITEMS THAT MAY FLOAT LEAKS: As for leaks, I haven't had any problems so far 🤞🏻, but I'm being gentle with it, and I got an extended warranty. DRAWBACKS: 1. You can't use hot water washes. I imagine that by the weight and simplicity of the machine, the parts are mostly plastic. I don't know if this is the. reason, but I'm not chancing it and accidentally distorting or melting parts or gaskets. I also wait 15 minutes between washes to allow the machine to cool. This might not be necessary, but again, not taking any chances. UPDATE: You can use hot water, and I've been doing back-to-back washes for nearly a year, no issues! 2. You can only wash 8 lbs of clothes per wash. To put that in perspective: that's (2) pairs of jeans (maybe 1 depending on size), (2) pairs of underwear, (2) pairs of socks, and (2) tee shirts. However, that's perfect for 2 people doing laundry 2-3 times a week, and I have had no issue so far. THIS IS NOT A MACHINE FOR FAMILY USE! 3. It doesn't have any dispensers for anything. So you will need to fill it before adding detergent or bleach. TIPS: The machine has a double rinse regardless of the setting. The first rinse is at 20 minutes on the washer display, and the final rinse is at minute 8, that's when you should add fabric softener. I added it at the first rinse for about a week before realizing why my fabric softener wasn't working. UPDATE: Buy a downy ball, seriously! Hope this helps

Poor quality control- Piece of junk right out of the box. Comes with free mold!
I could hear water water sloshing around in the machine when it arrived and I brought it inside- the machine comes with a nice little water damaged packing slip that says the liquid is from quality control testing- they're either lying and selling used returned machines as brand new, or they are not adequately draining the machines during said testing and delivering customers brand new machines with musty moldy factory water in them. Neither is really acceptable. The lid was janky and defective right out the box- It would not open/close appropriately or consistently because it did not sit properly on its plastic hinge pin. Even when manually popped back into place it would just pop back off when attempting to close the lid on the machine. I've gone through two other portable washers and had to throw them out after this part of the machine broke, as it is basically impossible to fix, and the machine ceases to function once it goes (there's a tension strap attached to the lid which prevents the machine from running when the lid is open- when the hinge breaks there is permanent slack on the strap and the machine wont run). I'm sure it's a lovely machine if you can get one that was put together and tested appropriately, but this thing had too many problems right out of the box for the price point it is offered at for me to trust the brand. Not going to waste my time with something that can't do the bare minimum out of the box and already has end of life symptoms before I even unwrapped it.

Impressive
I’m not going to lie, I almost didn’t buy this due to some bad reviews. I said to myself just buy it and if it’s bad send it back. Well I’m glad I did. I’m so impressed with this washer. Quality is good, looks great, not heavy and easy to use. The washing modes are insanely good. I can’t believe how good this machine washes. The spin cycle on this thing could outrun my car if it had wheels. It’s intense. I wanted to give 5 stars but I’ll come back in 6 months with an update review and if it’s still going I’ll give 5 stars. So far I’m extremely satisfied. ***4mos UPDATE*** Washer is still going strong and is great. I love this lil guy. You can wash 6-8 Shirts at once. Jeans, no more than 3 at a time. Don’t even think about washing comforters, blankets etc… sheets and pillow cases are not a problem. It’s a powerful little machine but can’t handle really heavy material. I think this is how ppl are breaking them. You’ll be impressed with it. Don’t be alarmed if yours comes with water in it when it’s opened. They all come that way because they’re fully tested off assembly line. Only thing I would change is the lint catcher. It catches nothing at all. Could be a problem I don’t know because this washer has a water pump. Maybe they could redesign the lint catcher in the future. I’ll update again in 2 months. I’m very satisfied with this machine and impressed. ***UPDATE 6MOS Review **** Washer is still going strong and is an awesome machine. Extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend. Only issue I have with this washer is its worthless lint catcher. It’s basically there for looks because it doesn’t do its job. I’m not sure if it’ll be an issue long term due to it having a water pump??? Other than that I love the machine. It’s really quiet for apartment living. I hope the manufacturer steps up and redesigns the useless lint trap. I’ll do a 1yr update to keep yall posted… *** 1Yr**** Well the machine is finally breaking. I wash 1 day a week to keep the laundry getting out of hand. I believe the motor that churns the tub is going out. It will sit and hum then it will catch and start churning again. When it’s working it’s a great machine. I doubt I would buy again. Just because there’s no warranty. For this price it needs a better warranty. ***2YR*** It’s still going has never fully broken. I still use it and have tried to finish it off but it just washes away haha. It’s tougher than I thought it was. I’ll keep using it until it gives out. Washes great just occasionally it will stop mid wash for 2 seconds then catch and wash again. I do believe I’ve gotten my moneys worth.

A great lil washer for apartment life
While my apartment complex does have a communal laundry room, several other neighbors seem keen to flood it at least once a week. For hygeine and spoons purposes, I wanted something non-permanent I could have in my apartment. This washer is a little powerhouse. All of the issues I had while setting this up was at no fault of the product but the limitation of my apartment. Neither my kitchen nor bathroom sinks had compatible faucets for the water inlet no matter how many adapters I tried to add. So for a while, I was filling it with buckets of water. This is a valid option in a pinch, but be aware that if you want to recreate the wash->rinse->spin of a normal cycle, I had to manually start the wash, set it to spin, refill for a rinse, then set it to spin once more. Very tedious and takes many spoons, but doable. But I didnt want to do that anymore, so I did some research and found that if you get a 3/8 compression add-a-tee splitter, add it to your sink or toilet water line, and get yourself a 3/8 compression to 3/4 dishwasher hose, you can connect the portable washer directly to your water line. Renter friendly, took 5 minutes and some plumbers tape, and works like a charm. For my set up its only cold water, but that's fine for me. Stick an antivibration mat underneath and keep it a centimeter away from the wall, and the vibrations are pretty minimal. Im plus size and the washer can fit 2 of my shirts and 2 pairs of thick sweatpants easily. I only use a bit of detergent, just enough to cover the bottom of the bottle cap. Clothes are clean and smell fresh with no residue. The washer is small enough to fit in my small bathroom. I've done well over a dozen loads and it's held up great. Light enough to move around wherever you need it too. It's a great way to level up apartment living. Paired it with a portable dryer and now I'm golden.

It works well like a full capacity washer, it spins great so hanging clothes to dry is faster.
I've had mine for about 3 years now and it's been great. Did a lot of research before picking a portable washer out to have in an apartment so I don't have to go do laundry and pay for it anymore and so I wouldn't have big bulky costly machines either... I'm just here now because my drive belt finally went out and just needs replaced but that's the only thing that's happened so far which is just typical maintenance stuff.

Excellent product!!!
First of all I tried to give a 5 star rating but the first star will not respond. I ordered/received this washing machine a year ago this month, for use in my apartment and have—to date—washed 340 loads and it still does an absolutely beautiful job!! I regret not ordering it years ago. I live alone and it can handle my laundry needs perfectly. I can wash a small load every few days and hang dry the items. The washer spins out so thoroughly that items dry on hangers in just a few hours. I can wash queen sized sheets easily by washing the flat sheet and pillowcase in one load and the fitted sheet and second pillowcase in a second load. I love that it is—in every real sense—an actual washing machine, just small. I can easily pick it up to move it but I happened to have a small square, flat truck that I set it on and wheel it to the sink and back to the corner. The machine control panel makes it very easy to select the water level and wash cycle and once the fill hose is connected to the faucet the machine auto fills and shuts off the water flow until more water is needed for rinse cycle. There is no detergent or fabric softener dispenser on the machine but I add detergent as the water begins to fill tub and set my phone timer to remind me to add softener/ sanitizer at the final rinse which is 11!minutes before final spin out. I am SOO happy with this little machine!!

Fantastic for the price and size (2 years review)
I've had this washing machine for more than 2 years now and it still works perfectly. I never had a single issue with it and it cleans my clothes better than my mom's full size machine. It's perfect for my small apartment, size I don't have a dedicated laundry space. I store it in the shower when I don't use it (or the shower, obviously). It's just light enough to be transportable from room to room if needed and it has 2 convenient handles on the sides. I calculated that it paid itself in the first 11 months with the savings on laundromat. However, I think it's important to address a few things, since reading the other reviews (especially the 1 star ones) I noticed that some people don't understand some very obvious things about this machine. 1. It's a small washing machine. It's not meant to replace a full size machine. That means you shouldn't overfill it with a full load of clothes. On the high water level, it will wash 1 pair of pants and 3 shirts or 5 shirts or 2-3 pairs of pants. Anything more than that and it will either not clean well, spill over or break the spinner. It's too small for my full (double) bed duvet, but I can wash everything else, including my towels, blanket and sheets. It has a lint/hair collector on the side of the drum that works so well I wonder why full size machine don't have one! If you have the space and budget for a full size machine, buy a full size machine! However, for the size and price, you can't beat this one! 2. Contrary to what some say, it does not require any "installation". You just need to remove the black plastic piece at the bottom and packing foam, as it's just a stabilizer for shipping. Mine came with a notice telling me about it, but it seems that no everyone received one (or they discarded it without reading it). 3. Yes it's true, the water intake hose that comes with it will not fit on all western style faucets, but it's an Asian product designed primarily for the Asian market, so that's not too surprising. It does fit perfectly on my kitchen faucet after removing the aerator, but it doesn't fit on my bathroom faucet. You can to buy an adaptor if it doesn't fit. You can find them online, but it's best to bring the hose and the faucet aerator to a hardware store to find an adaptor that is compatible with both sides. Alternatively, it will fit on a gardening hose or you can just use a hand shower to fill it manually, like I do. 4. Some have said that the company doesn't sell replacement parts, which is true, but most of the parts are generic and commonly available online from different suppliers. I never needed to replace any, but I searched and easily found the belt, the motor, the pump and the inlet solenoid. 5. No, it doesn't dry the clothes, but it spins them fast enough that they are just damp and dry quickly on a clothesline or rack. I have no clue why so many people are confused and claiming it is falsely advertising that is dries clothes. There is nothing of the sort in the description! It even says "Please note: It can only do 80% spinning drying." I'm on the Canadian version of Amazon, so maybe it's different elsewhere... 6. Yes, the front yellow sticker is a pain to remove, but using a hairdryer on the warmest setting and a razor blade, it becomes much easier! 7. Some complained that it overflowed, but they either did something wrong (like filling it without pressing start) or they had a defective unit, because it has an automatic overfill sensor and will drain out if the water level is too high. I tested it and it drains faster than I can fill it! 8. Do not use hot water in it as it is not designed to resist high temperature. That being said, you can use up to 50C (122F) warm water, but it washes really well with just cold or lukewarm water! 9. Do not use too much soap or it will bubble over, as the agitation is quite vigorous! I use a quarter of what's recommended for a full load when filling it to the highest setting and it works fine. 10. No, it is not silent, but it isn't super loud either. When I close the bathroom door, I can just barely ear it. 11. Yes, it's build with plastic, but it's sturdy enough that unless you beat on it, it will not break. It has to be plastic, otherwise it would be too heavy to be portable.

Merveilleux produit.

Low sink or higher seating of machine necessary for proper drainage
It's very quiet, little to no shaking when properly leveled and holds a decent amount in it. This video shown is of the first load I did. The load had 2 pairs of socks, a pair of pants and 2 shirts, I think I could have put at least one of my hoodies in it as well, that's a respectable amount! No issues with assembly, there is a plastic plate that you screw to the bottom- you'll need your own screwdriver. My plate holes did not fully align, there's 2 that never matched up, however I screwed the rest in firmly and there is no rattling so no issue as far as I'm concerned. The provided adaptor did not fit, as expected after reading other reviews here, so I had to fill it by hand with a pot and keep an eye on it during spin/drain to give it more water when needed - it drones when it's trying to draw water and not getting any. Tedious for sure, I will find an adaptor that works before that drives me crazy. You can see the height of the drain vs. my sink and I found it to be too high, there was water pooling in the pipe when all was said and done and that was a watery lesson for me when I went to put it away. I think I will either find or make a suitable tray on wheels to give it the height it needs and eliminate that issue. If you have to fill it by hand, it won't start washing/spinning until it detects there's enough water in it. I was worried about overfilling it but it will start up and let you know. I am currently very satisfied, I normally pay $30 or more per month on laundry in this building so this will pay for itself very fast if it lasts. I will absolutely come back here to report if anything happens or in a few months to confirm my satisfaction, we shall see. *just coming back after a few days to point out that the washer to sink adaptor did actually work. Inside the larger opening to the adaptor is a foam band, you can remove that to reveal threads on the inside, which I did not know were there (thanks boyfriend!) and it fit on my sink just fine.

Love this machine!
I love this machine. I've been using a dual tub for years because it's cheaper than going to the laundromat and I don't have to drag laundry there and back, saving gas too. But, due to it's dual tub, it is double the work. It was time to upgrade. I used the new machine today and now I'm spoiled. I put the new machine on a dolly so I don't have to kill myself moving it from one spot to another. I live in a small A Frame cottage rental with hookups for a full size washer and dryer, but I don't want the washer in my livingroom and the dryer hookup n the kitchen takes up precious space. I put an island there for extra storage. At the end of the island is where I store the new washer and my portable dryer which will also be going on a dolly as soon as I get it. What you see on top of the dryer are folding tables. The brown one is what I sit the dryer on but lifting it to the top of that thing is killing me, hence the dolly. The other folding table is my folding table. UPDATE; Feb. 26, 2026. Still using this same machine and it works like a charm. The only thing I would change is the amount of time it takes to do a wash. It's 40 minutes. Maybe not having a 2nd rinse cycle would save time and water.
