I purchased these after fracturing my fifth metatarsal and needing support during recovery—especially when I wasn’t wearing my walking boot, like around the house for short movements. These compression sleeves have worked extremely well. I wear a women’s US size 9.5–10 shoe, and I went with the XXL. When my foot isn’t swollen, they fit perfectly—snug but not too tight. But when swelling flares up, I’m especially glad I chose the XXL. If swelling wasn’t an issue, I could probably wear an XL. They provide great support and stability without feeling restrictive. They help with pressure, swelling, and arch support, and I’ve noticed reduced discomfort during and after wear. The sleeves are well made, easy to slip on, and hold their shape nicely over time. After receiving my first pair, I ended up buying a second pair about a month later, since my recovery period is about three months long. Having two allows me to rotate them out and always have a clean pair ready. I also plan to continue wearing them after I'm released from the walking boot and transition into a firm tennis shoe for extra support. If you’re recovering from a foot injury—especially one like a metatarsal fracture—and need added stability and relief, I highly recommend these. ***A few months later and I am back walking with Hoka tennis shoes. The compression sleeve is still helping because I do 9K+ steps a day and my foot that was broken swells up a lot. The only problem I am noticing is that as time goes on and I hand wash and air dry these, the end piece near my toes curls and rides up. I wont knock a star off, because I have gotten good use out of them but there seems to be an expiration date, so to speak so I may need to discard these and buy new ones. Overall, still very helpful.

I wear these under my socks when I go hiking, and I’ve noticed my feet are much less sore after long hikes. The quality is strong. I just toss them in the wash and dryer with the rest of my hiking gear, and they hold up beautifully. They’re very comfortable to wear (I forget I have them on), and I love that they don’t take up much space in my drawer. The fit is snug, so I’d recommend sizing up if you’re between sizes. The fact that they come in different colors and patterns is a nice bonus. The price is more than fair for the quality and support they provide, and shipping was fast with secure packaging. They’ve made a noticeable difference for my hiking and workouts. I’d highly recommend these to anyone who spends long hours on their feet.

The socks are doing a very good job for the swelling and my walking is painless. However, I am a size 9 1.2 - 10 in ladies’ shoes, and this XXL is a bit of a hard challenge to put on, because also at this age (76), I have arthritis and other discomforts in my fingers and wrists. Is there a bigger size ? Thank you

I'm adding onto my prior review because I want everyone to know that these "TechWare Pro Ankle Compression Sleeves" are BETTER THAN ANY BOOT SUPPORT, and MORE MANAGEABLE -- you can get up and down staircases, etc., without further endangering your safety. The boot(s) that you get in the hospital/from the doctor, etc. have limited-to-poor traction in the soles, and are more likely to CAUSE further injury than heal the injured limb: I find the doc-boots to be too big (NB: They are one-size-fits-all), too long, and too slippery. It's like trying to walk with a diver's flip-flops on (that divers use for swimming): Great in the water; severely dangerous on land. These compression sleeves can be washed/air-dried in no time and adapt to footware: Just keep them loose-tied; even better if you get a larger-size sneaker and make THAT your main-boot-support, along with the compression sleeves. I bought 6 pairs. I alternate clean/used from day to day, as I'm presently in the middle of a broken toe/fractured toe (due to sprain) on same foot. I remove the sleeve at night; let the blood/oxygen flow to the limb. Worth the price; BETTER THAN ANY SUPPORT BRACE/BOOT!!

I suffer from plantar fascia pain and have heel spurs, arthritis and some ankle swelling. I bought these to support my plantar fascia and to relieve pain in my feet and swelling. They have excellent support and reduce pain and swelling I could tell right away. I measured my feet according to all measurements on chart and bought an xxl. I wear a size 11 ladies shoe. My rating for only two stars for comfort is due to the fact that after only 2 wears, the band that goes around your fore foot has started rolling up. This is most annoying especially in closed in shoes as it makes it uncomfortable. I do not know whether I will be able to tolerate this which is a shame as they do really support and are well made. I was hoping to be able to wear them daily for ongoing foot and ankle issues and was going to buy another pair but not so sure now. I tried other similar products to these Tech ware sleeves which were not as well made. Sigh, I hope I have not wasted my money on another product I cannot wear.

Very comfortable!

I wear a size 12 (US) shoe, and I ordered the XXL. They are very tight and snug to put on, but once they're on, they provide the perfect amount of compression. Strong, but comfortable. They are very durable despite how thin the material is. You can pull and tug on them like mad to get them into position, and then they disappear under socks or just in your shoes. I forget I have them on. Give them a little time (an hour or two) and any swelling you have will be reduced or gone, from the pressure they put on your ankle. They don't cause any discomfort for me even after wearing them all day. They seem to "energize" your ankles and make them work better, or feel like they're working better, like it's easier to walk. These are a quality, functional product and you won't go wrong ordering them. Very strong, durable material, lots of compression, and very comfortable to wear. Follow the sizing directions on the product page and they should work for you.

Even though according to their sizing i should've been a xL, I went for the xxL. It's as described. But for me even with the bigger size it was too tight that my toes turned purple. Great product if they fit you. They are worth the price and not too thick. They were comfortable to wear, at first lol. What was nice is the top of the sock didn't dig in, roll down, or bunch up.

Won't start my day without it!! Just an fyi...I sized up to the next size than the one recommended for me, (even after talking to Customer Care) as my leg is not too slim! lol!! Because I sized up, it comes down about 1.5 inches from the top of my toes, but I don't believe I could have gotten away with the smaller size because the cuff at the top would just be too uncomfortably tight. The Vendor said I could send it back if I wanted. Btw, they were very fast to answer my concerns, which was great. But seriously, it compresses my Achilles and my Plantar Fascia, and adds a level of protection while they are on the mend. Thanks!~~~

The socks are good quality and the material is tight. I went by my ankle and instep size, not so much by the shoe size and still I find them to tight around the ankles, so I can only wear them for a short time before getting uncomfortable but for people with think ankles they may be great.

I purchased this to help with swelling and pain relief following ankle surgery and weening off of my bootcast. It really has helped with accillies and heal pain as well as providing ankle support to help with walking. It does relieve some of the swelling as well. Very happy with this product. Not sure what the issue is regarding sizing but I wear a size 11 shoe and purchased the xxl and it fits perfectly. I guess, just be sure to measure per instructions to be sure what size you need.
