I was a bit sceptical but wow, did this work! After getting an Allen key nut stuck on an electric scooter the head then completely rounded off. I tried all the online tricks with elastic bands and glue etc, nothing worked. I decided to try this not expecting much, but hoping. Well it paid off, first attempt and within 20 seconds problem solved! Easy to use, worked first time, great piece of kit!

I can't fault these damaged screw extractor, did the job I needed, putting right a problem hex bolt I had on a 1/5 RC buggy. Very good value for your money.

These are great little tools, however all of the product information and the instructional video don't make it clear that these will not fit in a basic electric screwdriver. You will need a more powerful drill type electric screwdriver to use them. Unfortunately for me, the screw that I needed to remove was at the bottom of my bath panel, 1 cm above the floor, 2cm in from a wall and blocked from above by the curve of the panel, so my larger drill screwdriver wouldn't fit into the available space. The extractor tools come in a good range of sizes, are packaged well and are good value for money. I'm now looking for an adaptor so that they can be used in my more basic / compact electric screwdriver.

Did not work for me. The cutting tip was not sharp enough to cut into the snapped bolt, so I resorted to using an HSS drill bit. But the extractor bit then couldn't cut into the hole I'd drilled - the material is either not hard enough or it's not sharp enough. I used a Dewalt drill at variable (up to high) speed to try and cut into the snapped bolt - and I used the same drill at very low speed when trying to use the extractor end. I tried a few different sizes, starting with the smallest - but it didn't work for me.

For the task I had purchased this set, namely a broken bolt that needed to be extracted, this didn't really work since it failed to cut into the bolt end without my first drilling a pilot hole to engage the extractor bolt. However, I'm sure that they will work well to extract damaged screws.

Works very well - highly recommend if trying to remove screws where the head has worn off.

Did what I purchased it for , removed a threaded screw and easily I might add. Highly recommend.

I had a stripped screw on a window handle and used a drill with the appropriate bits to remove it. The instructions are on the box but they’re easy to follow.
