The mount worked perfect! I upgraded to a larger tablet for my CNC and this mount replaced a smaller one I have. Even the holes on the base were the same pattern as my old one. Couldn’t ask for more. Also quality was much better than my original one.

This is a very high-quality and heavy-duty mount for your iPad or laptop. I'll start with the good: Well built, rugged, over-engineered and easy to set up. This thing could probably support a medium sized child, let alone an iPad. The clamp also gets very large to the point that it can even hold my 16" MacBook Pro which is great. You can use this in a wide variety of applications, from your desk, to car, to anywhere you need your screen to be. It has a lot of options for motion so you can essentially position your iPad or laptop any way you want which is great, highly adjustable. It is a bit heavy, but that speaks to the quality. A couple of things that would be nice: Different mounting options. Who is honestly going to screw this into the dashboard of their car? You can of course get creative and use a piece of wood or other material to mount this to, but then thats an extra step. I screwed mine to an Ikea desk which is fine, but I can't really ever move it now if I want to reconfigure my setup, and the desk is basically ruined. It would also be nice if there were other "holding" options besides just the clamp, for example a magnet for easy mounting of a phone or smaller iPad. Overall this is a strait forward, high-quality mount that I would recommend

Although this mount is designed for semi trucks and commercial vehicles, I’m actually using it as part of my office desk setup, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The OHLPRO Heavy Duty Drill Base Tablet Mount works really well even for a 14" portable monitor. - Portability: The mount I received is compact and lightweight and can be transferred from place to place with minimal effort. - Sturdiness: It's adjustable and can be modified to hold a large tablet with a firm grip. - Safety: Given that it is mountable and is advertised to be used on a truck dashboard, I'd imagine that you can mount it in any vehicle with the included hardware in order to utilize an additional screen safely. Conclusion: This mount works great and I have no issues with its sturdiness and stability. It looks nice, has a firm grip, and can be used for various portable monitors and tablets. 5 out of 5 stars.

Looking for new ways to mount tech devices, found the the OHLPRO brand by way of these heavy duty "drill base" tablet holders! I was very pleased with their construction, and while they are made of plastic they are still super strong and I've used them to hold lighting high above my work area and other types of devices. For this type of tablet mount in particular, OHLPRO makes the absolute best device holder I've seen, with edges that can extend to accommodate thicker screens. This is also the only device holder that can fit my largest portable monitors size about 17"-18"! The thumbscrews on the various segments help keep things stable yet adjustable if needed. Of the two OHLPRO drill base arms that I have, this one is the longer of the two, and has an extended barrel shaped section, giving it more reach than the other type - by about 2 inches - if that's what you need. For the $25 - $30 asking price this is an excellent value for money especially due to the quality of the device holder and nice ball joint to make the end of the chain super adjustable. Recommended!
