Seems great
TLDR: This seems like great grease I don't have a test lab to analyze this grease. Most of us expect to grease something, put it together and only think about it again someday when something breaks or starts squeaking... So "good" grease is the grease that just does its job for 5 or 10 years without you ever having to think about it...and I can't tell you how this grease performed after many years in service. Even if I did, whatever I told you would just be anecdotal. Ok, with that disclaimer out of the way... I've used all sorts of greases over the years and never really had what I thought was a lubrication failure. Any failure has been on account of the grease getting hot or runny and/or escaping the area it was supposed to stay in. To that end - the "stickiness" of grease is a big deal. Good grease is sticky and really wants to cling in place. This stuff CLINGS. Rarely have I used another grease this clingy. It's made in the USA, which is always a good sign and the specifications are good. Those factors, along with having greased up a few joints with it and feeling it - I think I can trust this grease will do its job for a good long time. It's red, sticky and clingy, spreads smoothly, smells greasy and comes in a tube ready to be loaded into your grease gun. Seems like a win!

Excellent quality grease but poorly made tube's bottom cap arrived ruptured and leaking
ROYAL 876 Lithium Complex #2 Grease, Heavy-Duty EP Grease for Construction, Mining, Automotive and Farming Equipment, Water Resistant, High Load Capacity, Made in USA, 14 oz Tube $11.99 For the sake of brevity I will refer to the above titled product simply as "grease". First of all, I wasn't expecting such a large tube. From the pictures it looked like the size of a Vaseline chapstick. However in actuality it is far larger. It's almost 1 ft tall. The grease is excellent quality. It has a very thick consistency. It is not runny whatsoever. Wherever you put it it will stay. It has a high density viscosity which gives it a very specific purpose. This is NOT intended for fast RPM applications like a car engine where oil is way more suitable. As far as the smell, it has a mild grease smell. Unfortunately for me, the tube was ruptured at the bottom and much of the product has leaked out the bottom. I got an opportunity to try cleaning and removing the grease from the other products in the Amazon box so I can tell you about that experience as well. CLEAN UP: Cleaning this stuff off my floor was very difficult without a proper solvent. The product claims to be water resistant and it is absolutely true. Water beaded off of it just like oil and water. I tried soap and water and paper towels and I was just smearing it all over the place. It was not coming off. It's definitely is designed to stay where it is put! My partner had to use some a solvent from the garage to finally get it off our floor. I Do not want to repeat that clean up experience. So, handle with care and becareful that the tube's bottom isn't broken or leaking like mine was. VALUE: Given its price of $13 for 14 oz, it comes to $0.86 cents per ounce which is almost double the price of other brands. On Amazon from the other products I looked at, the average price per ounce seems to be between $0.40 and $0.60 cents. It's Royal grease is $0.86 which is on the high end. Basin the quality of it though I would say it's definitely worth the price. If you plan to use a lot of this product, you may want to consider the 10-pack which is HALF the price per ounce. FINAL THOUGHTS: The quality of the grease is 5 stars. But I hesitated on the product's rating because of the poor quality of the tube it is packaged in. For a brand to save a few pennies in packaging cost just to make the plastic a little thinner is inexcusable when you're making a high quality commercial product like this. I should not have to worry about ruptures and leaking because the manufacture decided to shave off half a millimeter of material on the plastic lid. I wanted to take off 1/2 a star due to the bad packaging but ratings are in whole numbers only so, I give this 4 stars when considering the product as a whole including its shoddy, leak prone container. However, the quality of the grease is definitely 5 stars.

Excellent quality, NLGI 2 and lithium complex
Excellent grease, and it's perfect to use in your automotive grease gun. I particularly like that it is NLGI 2, and a lithium complex, as I can use it for the u-joints and driveshaft of my wife's 4runner. It smells and sticks to everything, but then again, isn't that what you want in a good, automotive type grease! My plan this spring is to replace and pack the wheel bearings of my utility trailer. They haven't been done in a few years, but it only has about 300 miles of towing. This should be perfect for that application as well. You may have other, specific applications that I haven't mentioned, but I'm very impressed with the quality of this grease, and if you carefully read through the listing, it will give you a good overview of what it can handle. For $12 (at the time of this review), I think this is a decent value for what you're buying. It's not bargain basement price or brand from a big box, but my guess is if you're looking at this, you don't want bargain brands either for your expensive equipment and vehicles. Final note, like others, the bottom cover was partially off and a very small amount of grease was pushing its way out, but it didn't touch anything else in the box. I think this is an Amazon packaging issue along with a very easy to remove bottom cover. recommended!

Nice Red Lithium Grease
This is a 14 oz tube of good red lithium complex #2 grease. It's a fairly general purpose grease, however it's best suited for wheel bearings and chassis lubrication. It's recommended for extended service in high temperature, high load applications where you need something with high tack and water resistance. It's classified as a NLGI #2 complex and carries both the Timken 80 lb load rating and Komatsu's stamp of approval. It's suitable for general purpose use on any type of friction point, like pivot points on a loader, but is ideally used on wheel bearings or other points where you need a grease that can take a lot of pressure and you need it to stay in place. A high pressure lithium grease like this is perfect for that type of application. The tube it comes in has a quick pull plastic tab for convenience, but it also makes the seal a tad bit fragile and mine broke loose during shipping, which is a little frustrating. The grease itself feeds well from a grease gun and it travels well through grease fittings and into the gaps it needs to fill. It also works well in devices used to push the grease into bearings. I have no complaints with this grease other than lithium greases have a tendency to get dried out, although it takes quite a long time for that to happen, which causes a dry bearing situation after several years. Mine arrived with both a punctured pull tab seal and a cracked black cap on the other end, so I had some leakage to deal with. I feel for $11.99 per tube that I shouldn't have to deal with an inferior quality container. It is a decent grease, don't get me wrong, but they really should put this in a better quality outer tube. It's a little high on the price I believe, but it is a made in the USA grease that you should be able to have confidence in. I typically buy bearing grease by the tub and pack it into a grease gun manually, but if I have this on my shelf I certainly wouldn't have a problem using it.

Good specs, nice and tacky.
I used up the last of my Lucas Red grease when installing new bearings on my camper. I had the opportunity to check this brand out through Vine, so I'm giving it a shot. Unfortunately, I will not be able to tell you how this performs under stress and heat for at least a year (when I repack the bearings), and can only give you my impressions based on the spec sheet, visual inspection, and feeling the grease with my fingers. The grease arrived with no leaks of packaging issues. It loaded into my gun with zero effort. The seal was pretty easy to remove, and once the gun was purged and ready, the grease came out pretty easily. This is a thick and sticky grease that *looks* to be heavy duty. It has a tacky feel similar to Lucas, if not even stickier. Looking at the spec sheet, this should be way more robust than I need for a 17-ft camper. It's made in America, so I'm far more likely to trust the spec sheet as being accurate. The real test won't come until I repack my bearings next winter. If a product fails me, I come back 100% of the time to update my review. If this still shows 5 stars, I'm still happy.

high quality grease, but was leaking out of both ends when I got it.
This seems to be pretty nice stuff. I put it in my skidsteer yesterday, and it seems to perform at least as well as anything else i've used. Obviously it's only been a day, but so far, so good. It's a red color that's pretty easy to see which grease zerk fittings you've already hit, and it's also thick and sticky enough to work well for temporarily holding things (like a screw on the end of a screwdriver). My only complaint is with the tub it comes in, which doesn't seem sturdy enough. When it arrive, the black top cap was cracked and leaking. Also grease was coming out of the bottom of the tube. Again, the grease was thick enough that it didn't really leave the tube and make a huge mess, but that also may have been aided by the sub-freezing temperatures. in the summer, this might have made a mess. Besides the cap, I have no complaints about this. It's a high quality grease that seems to work well and is a good value.

Meets expectations for quality and tackiness
A full tube of grease lasts a long time! I am replacing a lithium grease so I need something compatible. Pay attention to compatibility because the wrong grease mix can render both useless. I need to test more thoroughly by mixing 30/70, 50/50 and 70/30 with the grease I am replacing, but initial mix test at 50/50 seemed fine with Supertech lithium (grey). The lithium complex should mix with any lithium based grease. The packaging is actually a nice touch--plastic instead of lined cardboard tubes. It makes a difference over time because you can actually get the grease off for cleaner handling. The consistency is like red tacky bearing grease with long strands and very little weeping or flowing. Should be more than enough for my basic uses---mainly auto suspension and shop gear that requires grease. I am happy with this and I expect it will meet the needs of any DIYer. Just be sure to note the compatibility with your old grease!

Made in USA Royal Lithium Grease
Made in the USA: a hard to come by spec now-a-days. This grease worked great on the wheel bearings of my 1995 F250. Lithium grease is better for applications involving water, not that I need to tell you that. After many water crossings the grease on my wheel bearings looked almost the same as when I packed them to begin with. As expected from a high quality grease, it has a spec sheet to give you all of the niddy-griddy information you may want for clarification on the suitability of your application. The price is a slight premium compared to some over the seas variants, but I'd choose this any day over the cheaper options. It also works great on my larger RC cars wheel bearings. A little thick for smaller RC cars but the water resistance is great for longevity on my larger RC cars.
