Excellent product to aid quitting or reducing the number of cigarettes.

Great idea to have low dose nicotine available in a mint. I use low dose nicotine for other health issues once a day. Easier for me than cutting a patch.

These are apparently a great way to work your way toward quitting smoking. However, I have an extremely dry mouth and a good part of my job is teaching, so I am constanly needing a drink, so, unfortunately, I cannot use them properly. To use properly, you have to use them on a schedule, and cannot eat or drink anything for at least 15 minutes before and during use (these and the gum take around 30 minutes to get through). I cannot regularly go 45 minutes without drinking anything when I have to talk to teach. Otherwise, the value is good, cheaper than the name brand, and if the program indicated in the directions is followed, this one package should be all you would need to quit smoking.

First of all, every review you read is going to be extremely subjective as to the effectiveness of the product. There's no such thing as a one size fits all when it comes to quitting smoking. So take the reviews for what they are worth - subjective as to effectiveness and objective as to what you are getting in this product. Objective: Starting with the cost, this is slightly cheaper than the name brand lozenges by about 30%, so a bit more economical. The package indicates that you should start using this after you come up with a quit plan and the 2mg lozenges should be used if you don't smoke within the first 30 minutes of the day. This fits perfectly into my plan, but I do know people who basically light up 15 minutes after waking up, so if so move to the 4mg. The quantity that you get, if you follow the advice will barely take you through the first 6 weeks advised. If you take as directed using at least 9 a day for the first 6 weeks, you'll make it about 24 days until you need a 2nd box. Still not a bad deal though. The instructions provided and the suggestions and tips/tricks are very well laid out and mimic that of any smoking cessation programs. The key, in my opinion, before you start taking this is that you are highly motivated to quit. You get 8 small plastic childproof bottles that can be easily tossed in your purse or put in your pocket for quick accessibility. The instruction sheet is massive, but worth the read. Alot of very helpful information, so it's key to read through it if you are really serious. Subjective: The mint taste is nice and refreshing, not nauseating like other off brands I've tried. Ideally the plan is that you use the lozenges as directed and the instructions are well written advising how and when to take. I personally am very habitual about smoking, but even so I felt like the first few days I actually did not have as deep of cravings as long as I didn't go more than a couple hours between lozenges. I didn't feel sick to my stomach which is a plus. I'm still within the first couple weeks, but I feel for myself these have done a great job as long as I follow the other advice provided on how to get motivated, stay motivated and working alternative actions into my day. I would recommend this product based on how it works in comparison to the name brand Nicorette. I've tried Nicorette, obviously I didn't follow through or I wouldn't be trying this, but at this point I'm getting the same outcome so why not save a little money in the process. I have high hopes that I'll succeed and will definitely order another box to keep going when I'm nearing the end of this supply.

Very helpful for anyone ready to take stopping seriously. I recommend this kit for people who are ready to fully commit to stopping instead of (myself included) prolonging the habit. I really like how this product is geared towards actually quitting rather than just "here's some gum....good luck!". It includes a massive fold up sheet on steps to take, alternative options for help, recommended dose reduction schedule and, finally, instructions on using this product effectively. The sheet is a bit overwhelming if you're just looking for instructions but it actually contains some fantastic information geared towards people with serious cigarette addictions. Its important to note that this is a sublingual medication, it will not be (as) effective if you swallow the lozenge and can even cause some stomach issues. Anyone coming from cigarettes might want to take at least two, up to four at once to curb cravings as soon as possible though this will likely cause hiccups. While cigarettes contain 10-12 mg of nicotine, a heavy smoker typically only absorbs about 2-3mg per cigarette; these lozenges are a perfect size. If you find yourself popping more than 3 or 4 of these in a short time, you're probably just not ready to stop (which is FINE!). Sometimes it's worth it to focus on one breaking part of the habit at a time. As an ex-vaper, the constant hand to mouth all day long was the hardest part for me. This kit actually contains a pretty large amount of nicotine for the price, 432mg broken up into 16 convenient containers. That comes to 13 cents per mg before taxes which is better than the 13.25 per Mg I was spending from Lucy gum. Its not quite as cheap as unflavored CVS brand nicotine gum but that stuff is awful. That said, Lucy uses lab derived Nicotine while this stuff almost certainly contains tobacco derived nicotine, a small but important detail that might matter to some. I also much prefer the flavors that Lucy has although this product is a close second. I strongly prefer these lozenges to the absolutely awful nicorette or CVS brand "gum" they sell, I swear they make those gums as tough and as bland as possible so people go back to smoking. The tubes this stuff comes in are very handy but they don't have any sort of child lock. The taste is excellent, it's about as minty as a lifesaver and seems to be present through the whole lozenge, not just a coating. If you're in one of the few absurd states that doesn't allow for gum flavors beyond mint or "natural", I strongly believe this is your best option. Your jaw won't fall off from chewing and they don't taste like various kitchen-sink chemicals. Overall, I'm super happy and surprised with this product. Its full of great information and seems designed to actually help people overcome their addiction instead of prolonging the problem. As someone who switched from cigarettes to vaping then on to gum a few years ago, Its really worth it to try to nip your addiction in the bud before letting it go on for years. Vaping was the hardest hurdle for me since it was so socially accepted and easy to constantly use while indoors, Good luck folks!!!!

There are really only 2 different form factors for lozenges in the smoking cessation market (not including the big brand name product) - large disk shape and mini oblong shape. Each has its own benefits and drawbacks. The large ones take up a much larger amount of space for the same quantity. This can be inconvenient for some. These mini lozenges come in a very small tube with a safety cap that will fit in the smallest of pockets. To top that off each tube has 27 lozenges. Each lozenge is smaller than a piece of risotto. They are really small. I have tried a few of the different large lozenges and sometimes I enjoy the flavor and that it is long lasting. These minis are a bit of the opposite. The flavor is very good with a fairly strong mint taste that is pleasant and not overpowering. The minis dissolve for me fairly rapidly so there is no way to really enjoy it for a long time. This is not a big deal for me. The product tastes good, it delivers the nicotine, and it is very convenient because of the compact size. One issue I do have is price. It is currently $0.34 per lozenge and I’ve seen other products cost 1/3 less. That is significant enough that I deduct one star.
