It's BEAUTIFUL and shockingly well made. In the theatre world, if you touch a lamp/bulb with your bare hands (and even if not; you don't know how it was handled prior to you having it), you wipe it with a lint-free cloth and rubbing/isopropyl alcohol because the oil from your fingers creates a super-hot spot when the bulb is on, which makes your bulb die faster. But ONLY do this when you can KNOW that it is 100% unplugged, which can be verified ONE WAY: its plug is literally there in your hand. Be smarter than the stuff you're working with, friends! And get this one because it's so nice! The lowest setting makes it great as an ambient lamp. I got it on super-sale because I got it used; it was the right choice.

A beautiful well made lamp that warms either the candle wax or just wax cubes in a dish, it is a great addition to your home. The soft light itself adds a warm glow to any spot in your house. I had seen one at a friend’s and now I have one too.
