I love the way this came out, the quality is top notch! Selling a house and needed to hide the DVR. The install was quick and easy with the appearance looking great! There was enough room for the surge protector and came out very clean. There are 3 holes you can punch on the bottom and top. Great value for the look. Very compatible considering all the wire I was able to stuff in the box. I like that the box is labeled clear so there are no questions what the box is for

love the design however, too small for anything other than 4 channel dvr or nvr. if you have 8 channel or bigger this will not fit. materials are good. price is perfect for small setup

This enclosure box is built like a tank. The steel construction feels genuinely durable, not flimsy, and the weight confirms it's made of actual material rather than thin stamped metal. It says CCTV right on the front. The lockable front panel opens without tools, making it easy to access your wiring or equipment when you need to adjust things. Four mounting holes on the back keep installation straightforward once you drill into your wall. The ventilation design with cooling vents on the front and sides is a smart touch for keeping cables from overheating. Cable ports are built in to keep everything organized and routed neatly.

The Heavy Duty Lockable Enclosure Box for Security Wiring and equipment is good quality being made from strong steel. It easily mounts to the wall with the included hardware.The hinged door is solid and moves well. The lock holds it tightly shut ,The unit has good ventilation through slots on the sides and front.The unit is an appropriate size for a small surveillance system. The internal bracket supports the surveillance recorder.It functions well providing a secure location for a security system. The Heavy Duty Lockable Enclosure Box for Security Wiring is a good value for the money.

This enclosure is in no way “dust proof”. Construction, thou, is surprising stout for a $40 enclosure. The lock is a pretty standard cabinet lock, but I am very impressed that they took the time to add a grounding lead between the door and body of the cabinet. The cabinet is spacious, with plenty of knockouts, able to accommodate equipment up to 2” x 11” x 16” (d x h x w); the cabinet is actually larger but those are the limits due to the holding bracket welded into the interior.With a few minor changes, this could easily be an 80$ enclosure, but the one that grinds me is the massive “CCTV” that they cut into the front cover. The vent grates are under 1/8” width, per slot, but those letters are 1/4” thick. If you’ve any kind of flying, mud-nest-type insects (mud daubers) in your area, that “CCTV” will cause massive problems. I wish the manufacturer would have either painted that or just left it off, because 1/4” wide grooves make this box useless outdoors. Indoors, you generally don’t want people to know where the security cameras cabling is routed (“CCTV”). So, yeah; lose the “CCTV” or at least just paint it on so it can be removed and this box is a quick 5 stars from me, but until then, I cannot go higher than 3.
