The self explanatory breakout board for the KVM. Really easy to put in. It doesn't need to plug in to a physical PCI slot, as there isn't any connection there. That means creative mounting is possible to install the board somewhere else to hide the wires. It does both of the front switches and both of the front lights.

This ATX extension board allows for the remote management of your system with or without direct logical access to the system. It goes between your panel connectors and the chassis. Installation is a breeze with no need to use an actual PCIe slot on the motherboard. As long as your computer case has a slot, this works well ensuring wide compatibility. Once setup in your system, you will need a JetKVM to complete the setup. The cool thing about this module is that you can use your JetKVM without an HDMI or USB connection to the system if you only need remote power management. This helps with improving security as it does allow you to logically remove access and only have physical control over power to the system. Overall, this was an easy install and worked great!

Nicely built device for remotely controlling yesterday's PCs. No support for long press of the power button. Works great otherwise. Not useful if you have a modern PC with no reset button that requires you to long-press the power button to reset it when it's hung.

For a rack, server, or clean desktop build, that makes the setup look much better. Functionally, it works well. Being able to power on, shut down, or recover a hung machine remotely is a huge upgrade, especially for systems without IPMI. It gives you some of the convenience of enterprise server management without having to buy enterprise hardware, because apparently motherboards with remote management still cost like they were assembled by monks. There are a few minor drawbacks. The wiring could be labeled more clearly, and the included cable may be too short depending on where your JetKVM is mounted. Also, this is an accessory, not the JetKVM itself, so make sure you already have the main unit or plan to buy one. Overall, this is a great add-on for JetKVM users. It is clean, practical, and makes remote PC management much more useful. I would consider it almost essential for a homelab, remote workstation, or server setup where you need reliable out-of-band power control.

I misunderstood this item description. When I submitted my order I was on a cell phone and didn't see the part about it being an extension board. I thought it was a JetKVM that mounted to an expansion slot. On the bright side, what the item description is, is what I received. The build quality of the PCB is top notch.

I needn’t say anything that the product description doesn’t already cover. These are fantastic, the ability to turn a custom PC on and off remotely using the JetKVM ecosystem is fantastic. If you;ve ever tried to remotely manage a PC that is otherwise stuck in a state that needs a soft reset by way of holding the power button, this offers a simple solution to that very issue. It comes with both a full size and a half height bracket so you can pretty much fit this into anything that you would want to remotely manage. Paired with a JetKVM I use this to remotely turn on a secondary gaming PC for secondary account duties, without using WOL which I find to be unreliable for consumer products.

This is an addon device for the jetkvm to control the power on/off state of a computer It includes a RJ12 cable, jst cable for pc control, standard pc backplate, low profile backplate Note that the RJ12 cable isn't the same as standard cables, it has a straight through run rather than reversed and is quite short, being less than 30cm The RJ12 cable that is included attaches to the jetkvm, and gets power and uart to the ATX module. The cable is unlabeled for all the power, hdd led pins, and makes it difficult to wire up. Thankfully this is mostly a one and done situation, which worked once plugged in while theres 2 sets of pins for the button breakout, only 1 ribbon cable is included. This poses an issue for cases where the power cable cant reach the back of the case. You'd have to supply your own extension wires low profile backplate doesn't fit PC cases. It will interfere with the motherboard On the software side, it's open source, the C code is publicly available and free to modify and flash this unfortunately cant be daisy chained with another module or the dc extension board due to the nature of UART Overall it's a nice and almost essential add-on that allows control of a PC power state to the web UI, I wish it was part of the main bundle. I like that it gets external power from the jetkvm so I don't have to worry about power from the PC, but should include better wires

This is a handy add-on for remotely controlling the power and reset functions of a PC through JetKVM. It feels well made, installs neatly, and still lets you keep the original case buttons working. The main downside is that the included extension cable is quite short and its propoerty pin out so not something you can swap out from the shops. Overall, it works well and is a useful upgrade for a JetKVM setup.
