Annoying that they didn't have this in M4 size, had to go a size smaller. BUT for my needs this kind of worked out better, and creates a better seal. I was using this on my outside wall mounted lights, to block the screw holes and reduce chance of rain getting in. While not necessary, good insurance. Worked great, and since it was a smaller size than the screw, was a pain to put on, but once I added the hard nylon washer and nylon nut, put more than enough pressure against the semi-soft silicone to ensure a good seal.

These silicone flat washers were an exact fit as a seal for my vinyl label saver. They’re strong, flexible, and have a variety of uses. They work great though I’m not sure the value for the money is there. It’s likely I could have run to the hardware store and bought some for a few cents. I was just too lazy that day.

Great sealing

Far superior to thermal plastic resin ones. I used to them to replace the visor washers on my riding helmets. Comparison: TPU Washers: * Slippery--don't do a good job of being a washer for adjustment pivots * Unstable compound that shrinks, ages and is destroyed the elements quickly * Expensive, even though they're allegedly cheaper to manufacture * Difficult to find in the right sizes * Too easy to compress Silicon Washers: * Tacky, so the don't move * Stable compound--chemically resistant, abrasion-resistant and difficult to tear * Affordable * Plentiful and easy to find * Not rigid, but hard to compress beyond a certain point

The silicone washers are a perfect alternative to the rubber version that breaks down and becomes either sticky or brittle when exposed to heat or common chemicals in public water supplies, depending on their use. I also use silicone washers in applications where a flexible resilient padded washer is needed and replacement is difficult. They work well to distribute pressure and protect plastic and glass items that must be secured with a metal screw.

Much smaller than they appear.

Bought these to use on thumb screws that hold glass globes onto a light fixture. They are soft silicon yet still thick enough to hold their shape. Stopped the little random rattles.

Bought these to assemble crystal sconces, to cushion between two glass pieces. They will work fine, but I wish they were clear and a bit thinner. They are a good size in diameter and could be trimmed down with scissors if needed
