Decent fan but I'm not sure about the longevity of it. I bought this item specifically for my basement because I don't have ceiling fan boxes (the extra support above your drywall that holds the weight of a normal ceiling fan). This is lightweight enough that I'm not concerned about it weighing down all on it's own, but I am concerned about when the fan is in use. I could just be paranoid about it though. Aside from that, it seems to work great. It doesn't put off too much air because of the small blade size, but that was expected.

The fan only blows in one direction and the air flows upward not downwards which is useless for me. Iy does not allow you to reverse the direction either. I tried installing the blades upside down and they just flew out.

This is a very inexpensive way to get some air moving is a room with a basic old style light facture. I could not for the life of me get the fan to reverse on the direction. I don't know what I am doing wrong but it doesn't matter really. It does push a decent amount of air but it doesn't push the air down only up. Tried every combo on the remote with no luck. Overall it still is a good fan/light for a small storage room and I am happy with it.

Fan came with all pieces & it's definitely a fan lol not really much else to say about it. It's going to be a Christmas gift for my mama who is going through menopause & gets hot flashes. I will update once we get it up & running to evaluate how easy installation is & whether or not it's as powerful as a regular fan! Giving 4 stars because it's a pretty awesome thing to be able to plug a "ceiling fan" into a light bulb receptical lol I just can't give 5 stars 🌟 yet until we install it. Everything appears to be correct but haven't taken out of the box yet. I actually want one for myself if it works well!! Would recommend based solely on convenience, novelty, & looks of the item!

The one I reserved only blow air at the ceiling, There's no way to reverse the air flow to blow downward
