The charger wouldn’t work with my Prius Prime. There was no one to answer their phone and the website was continuing tally offline.

This level 2 EV charger really exceeded my expectations. I knew that CA offered clean energy rebates, but I didn’t realize this charger actually qualified for it since some other brands don’t. I’m an electrician, so I know what to look for when buying this. (if u r looking for some advice, I would say ENERGY STAR and FCC) I got the hardwired version, and wiring it up was no problem for me, but what really surprised me was how easy it was to mount this EV wall charger. I thought I’d be spending time lining everything up, but it went on smoothly and felt rock solid. The whole installation took just a few minutes. What I love most is how much this charger helps me save. Before getting this EV charger for home, I was using public charging stations that were expensive and always took too much time. Now I just plug in n go. The ability to adjust the current is a huge plus. I usually keep it at 48A, and it gives me plenty of power fast. Last night proved it and is actually why I’m writing this review now. I had plans changed last minute and thought I didn’t have enough charge to make it, but when I checked the miles, it was more than enough even though it had only been charging for just over an hour. That honestly blew me away and reminded me why this charger was such a great buy. It probably saved me around a hundred bucks in uber. Also, biggest benefits, I can set it to charge overnight during off-peak hours, which helps lower my electricity bill, and it can adjust the current! What a convenience! It was nice at first, I had to admit. It is a great product, for sure, I get off work, plug in and just chill, like they said on their website. It was really easy to use, the charging speed was quick. It's just a level 2 ev charger, what could possibly go wrong? Yesterday, I got home around mid-day, plugs the ev wall charger in and decided to see how it works, since it had a pretty nice light effect. It wasn't working. I unplugged it, and plug it in again, still not working. I was like, ok, not a big deal, probably just didn't connect it well, but it wasn't working, no matter how hard I replug and unplug again and again. I got worried, so I contacted the customer service. The respond was pretty fast, about a minute, I thought we were like, in different time zone, turned out they have customer service 24/7. They asked me to check if the connection wasn't stable, or if the plug wasn't attatched in a proper way, which both I checked was not the problem. They patiently did a whole troubleshooting with me, and eventually asked if I had set a charging routine, and yes I did. It would start charging as soon as it reaches the time limit that I had set to ensure safety. I felt so dumb. They apologized for not thinking of this problem at first, which was really comforting. It didn't have any problem after this, and that's how it became the best ev charger in my heart.
