The texture of the creamy raspberry flavour really stands out. It’s unlike any other protein bar I’ve had - soft, creamy, and not dry or chewy like most protein bars!

Flavour was better than I expected for a functional bar, with a mild white chocolate coating and a soft interior that blends a sponge like texture with a thin layer of raspberry. It is quite sweet, but it avoids the chemical aftertaste that some high protein snacks can have. The freeze dried raspberry pieces add a small amount of texture without making the bar feel heavy In terms of structure, each bar feels firm when handled but is actually very soft once pressed, which means it is easy for them to become squashed if kept loose in a gym bag or rucksack. The centre melts quickly in the mouth which makes it pleasant to eat, though the flavour itself is quite subtle Nutritionally, the bar offers a combination of creatine, whey protein and collagen in a single 50g portion. The 3g of creatine per bar is enough for a maintenance dose, but not sufficient for anyone following a loading phase, so it should be seen as a supplementary source rather than a complete replacement for powdered creatine. The low sugar content is achieved through maltitol, which may not suit everyone, but the overall calorie count remains low for the amount of protein provided. I ordered these Creatime (Nice catchy name!) protein bars as a convenient way to get some creatine and protein before training without needing to mix powders. I usually have one around an hour before a workout which normally includes high cardio on the step climber along with weights, so I was hoping they might help with strength or endurance while also being an easy snack. Pros ✅ • The taste is genuinely very good. The creamy centre and chocolate coating make it feel more like a treat than a typical protein bar, and the texture really does soften and almost melt in the mouth. • The sweetness level is nicely balanced. Despite the chocolate coating they aren’t overly sweet, which makes them easy to eat regularly. • Each bar contains 15g of protein along with 3g of creatine, which is a reasonable amount of both in a small snack. • I’ve been having one about an hour before workouts and they sit well beforehand. I haven’t experienced any stomach upset or digestive issues. • The bars are convenient to carry around and much simpler than measuring and mixing creatine powders. Cons ⚠️ • Although they contain 3g of creatine, I personally haven’t noticed any real difference in my training so far. I was hoping to see something like improved strength, better cardio performance or endurance, but nothing obvious. • At 50g the bars are fairly small, so they feel more like a snack than a substantial protein bar. • Considering the size of the bars and the quantity in the box, they do work out quite expensive. Conclusion / Recommendation 📝 Overall these are genuinely delicious protein bars with a soft texture that makes them stand out from many others. They’re convenient and easy to eat before a workout, and they haven’t caused any stomach issues. That said, I personally haven’t noticed any meaningful improvement in strength or endurance from the creatine element, so for the price they feel a little on the expensive side for what you get. If you mainly want a very tasty protein snack they’re enjoyable, but if you’re hoping for noticeable training benefits your experience may vary. 💪🍫

I have a sweet tooth and this has been perfect for those late night cravings. Such a soft bar and not chewy like other bars you sometimes get. The macros are incredible almost guilt free.

I am usually wary of buying unknown brands of food supplements, so my first port of call was to check the combined ingredients against published recommendations for this type of product. These bars seem to be entirely nutritionally safe, with relatively high protein and collagen, and low sugar, which are all good signs. The bars are particularly useful after workouts or during long shift work when mealtimes are delayed (as in my case!). They are best consumed after a meal and with plenty of water. If you use these simply as snacks, and consume them on an empty stomach, they may cause digestive discomfort and bloating. Depending on how sensitive you are to these things, you may experience some mild issues, or none at all. Sadly, in my case, they didn't particularly agree with me, so I will not be having any more. Taste-wise, they are good for 'health' products of this type - not too sweet, bitter, or chemical-tasting. The white chocolate coating and raspberry filling are smooth and creamy. Don't expect them to taste like a dessert treat, and you will not be disappointed. If, like me, you experience digestive issues after eating these, it is likely due to them being high in Polyols.

Macros are insane. Been searching for a bar that does creatine and this tastes amazing.

PRODUCT: Fitness bar x 12. PACKAGING: Dedicated marketing box. FUNCTION: The bars comes in a dedicated marketing box. A portion of the lid is perforated and tears back to reveal the contents. The lid can be folded back in on itself to form a display box. On the base of the box the nutritional information is printed, along with the ingredients. This is all the same information that is printed on each wrapper, just in much bigger print. There is also a QR code. Once scanned this directs you to the Creatime website. Each 50g bar feels solid and holds its shape well, but squeeze it a little between your fingers and it is actually very soft. If this were stored in your gym bag or rucksack, it would likely be squashed by the time you got around to eating it. I ordered the creamy raspberry. The bars have a thin white chocolate/yogurt coating. Inside feels like sponge, topped with a very thin layer of raspberry puree, and then tiny pieces of freeze dried raspberries sprinkled on the top for texture. Now I do not like overly sweet treats, not do I like creamy stuff, so I wasn't expecting much from these bars. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. It was not sweet at all, or sickly. I couldn't detect a smell, or in fact, any real taste. They do almost melt in the mouth without leaving any nasty residue on the teeth. The wrapper shows a best before date of 12/2026. The bars are low in sugar but contain sweeteners (Maltitol, which is a sugar alcohol). Each bar is supposed to contain 3g creatine (ingredients show creatine monohydrate) which is enough for a daily maintenance dose (3-5g) but not for the loading stage (20g per day - 4 doses of 5g), so you will still need to take your creatine in powder form. As a serious gym user, I do not think I would rely on one of these bars to provide me with an accurate dose of creatine, other than a trace amount. But they are still nice bars. At the time of this review (March 2026) the pack of 12 bars was £29.95. This works out at about £2.50 per bar. These are nice tasting bars, but for me, bars will not replace powders.
