The eggs are about the size of a standard egg, and due to the outer wrapper, may need to be put inside oversized eggs if used in an egg hunt. This 8 pack of squishy Easter eggs are incredibly cute but …… The eggs come individually sealed in little cellophane pouches which in turn are sealed in a large pouch. I was excited when I saw these vibrant, colorful eggs! Then I opened them. 🙊 They smell awful. The eggs are made of TRP (Thermoplastic Rubber) so I assume the smell is related to chemical “off-gassing “, plus a fruity cover-up perfume smell. When I handled them the smell came off on my hands and persisted until I showered later. It’s been 24 hrs now with little to no reduction in the odor. The smell finally washed off me so maybe a good sudsing would do the trick. Like other TPR toys, the eggs stretch and squish and are fun to handle. There is a shinny finish initially that feels oily but soon turns dull with handling. The eggs also feel sticky and try to stick together when they touch so I don’t know what would happen if they were stored together. Being sticky, the eggs pick up debris like a magnet but it does wash off. Because they are food shaped, fruity smelling and squishy, I would not even consider giving them to younger children for fear they might put one in their mouth, accidentally swallow it and obstruct their breathing. In conclusion I cannot recommend these incredibly cute, colorful, squishy eggs for the above reasons and certainly would not give them to young children. I am about 8 feet away from them right now and they smell like they are in my lap, and this is after 24 hrs of airing out.

I'm very happy with these stress ball squishy eggs - the kids will love them. And I'm keeping one for myself too! They have glitter inside and you can kind of feel it when you squeeze the egg, but the outside is smooth and shiny. I don't think the glitter could possibly come out of the egg. They feel sticky to the touch but are not actually sticky! Weird little things lol. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. They're fun to play with and seem durable and sturdy. And oh, they don't seem to stick to surfaces at all, more like 'cling' to things a bit, but they will grab a stray strand of hair!

They are a good size for a squeeze toy, just under the size of the smaller plastic eggs. They do arrive individually wrapped so you could hide them, or put them in a basket as is. Alternatively, they could easily be unwrapped and placed into a slightly larger plastic egg. Good item to mix in with all the candy, and the kids just love these things!
