Amazing product so far - Innovative magnetic/power mount - 2 Month Review
*UPDATE JUN 2021* Camera is still going strong. Haven't experienced any of the issues from the low star reviews but maybe they got a bad unit out of the box. Still highly recommend this if you're looking for an easily removable 1080p camera. Original Review When purchasing a new dash cam, I was looking for one that has a quick disconnect mount that also has the power built into the mounting connection (no wire plugged into the camera itself). Upon extensive research, this is the only camera on the market that offers a magnetic connection for one touch mounting with power built into the mount. The other cameras with similar functionalities I came across are the Vantrue N1 and VAVA. The Vantrue N1 has a built in power connector through the mount, but no magnetic easy disconnect between the camera and mount which can leave the mount pointing in a weird direction from knocking it around trying to remove the camera from the mount. The VAVA has a magnetic mount but the power must be connected manually through a cable to the camera. I thought I'd give the Ultradash a try and it lives up to my expectations so far since it combines the best of both these cameras. For only $60 it does it all for me: easy mounting, clear video footage and simple design. They offer a GPS enabled mount for people who require this functionality. If you're in the market for a dash cam that you will need to take down and reinstall all the time this is definitely the one to get. For the price point I don't expect it to have WiFi but I recommend having a cheap micro SD card reader for your android phone or iPhone for downloading and viewing footage on the go if needed. Playback on the device works nonetheless. I am using the included permanent mount and it hasn't separated from the glass. The camera has never disconnected from the base over bumpy roads. If you want the swivel portion of the mount to never move ever, I suggest applying a dab of glue since ball end mounts tend to move even if the locking ring is torqued down no matter the camera brand. But if you don't use glue and to ensure the mount does not move when you disconnect the camera, I suggest pulling directly downwards on the camera to separate it from the magnetic mount with your thumb on the bottom of the camera and pointer and middle finger on the top. I haven't had any problems so far *knock on wood* and will update this review if they come up in the future. I wasn't paid or asked to write this review by the seller but thought I'd share my experience in case anyone's looking for similar features in a dash cam. Thanks for reading

Affordable Dash Cam that is easy to install, functions as imagined, and get the job done!
I've been looking for a dash cam for a while now, and stumbled upon this product when a friend of mine recommended it to me. I wanted to make sure that I got a full grasp of it and so waited for a month to give my review. So far, it is performing exactly as what I would want a dash cam to be with extra details on them that works like a charm. I will give a list of pros and cons below for simplicity, but overall I am pleased with the product at the price range. Pros - Affordable dash cam with over the top performance for its price (usually dash cams range from $40 to $90, this was is in the middle mark, but the performance so far and the clarity it provides I wouldn't be surprised if it's on the $80-90 mark) - Easy to install and to understand (the installation process was easy with the guide, the directions on the dash cam was easy to follow to with settings and well thought of buttons) - Provided nearly (I'll explain in cons) all the required things for the dash cam to work on any model of cars. - Can be upgraded further for more functionality (there is a GPS system on it that does require extra parts that you can order from my understanding, I love that this is an upgrade-able dash cam as not everyone would need such an extra feature, but if you are going to the wilds and need GPS guidance without internet it could be helpful. - The suction of the dash cam to the port via magnetic was a satisfying and secure feature, I actually find it really neat. - Initially I thought the video was a bit foggy, but it was due to the plastic on the camera head, after taking it off it got a lot better and I can see that it does provide 1080p. - Easy to install memory card, as opposed to previous dash cams i've tried where it requires the whole cam to be taken off before a maneuver was possible. Cons - No SD card provided (this is nitpicking, as most dash cams do no provide it, but it is the only part that doesn't allow it to be a full packet, thus I didn't remove a rating for this, but do remember that it doesn't come with one). I honestly can't find much faults here with the dash cam, it is pretty much what one would expect and more at the price range and does exactly what a dash cam needs to do. There is still some other functions I'm sure I haven't fully explored yet as I've only been using it for a month, but I can't stop recommending this product enough. If you are on the edge to purchase a dash cam and are afraid of lower priced cameras and don't want to splurge on super expensive ones, this ones does the trick!

Great Dash Cam & Easy Setup
Nice dash cam! The packaging is well done and pretty good quality. The setup is super easy, simply mount it on the window and charge then itโs done. The camera required a few steps of set up when you first use it, but those are straightforward and very fast. The video quality is nice and very clear, overall it works well for us, definitely recommend it.

Exactly what I was looking for
I wanted a small, simple, unobtrusive dash cam with acceptable quality video and a display. Bam, here it is. I thought the magnet mount sounded dubious, but it holds with surprising force. The included power cord was slightly more than long enough to run from the mount from behind my rear view mirror all the way into my center console compartment to utilize an otherwise untouched power socket. I'm very happy with the size and actually find it to be an aesthetically pleasing camera. The packaging is very nice and the manual is high quality and useful. It looks like it costs more than it does. Another dash cam I bought based on name brand (think T-Rex) was massive and overly complicated (not to mention twice the price). I'm much happier with this cam. Although this camera has a 140 degree FOV as opposed to the 170 of the other camera, it successfully captures everything in front of my vehicle that I would want it to. Video quality is great for the price. Highly recommend this one.

Best Dash Cam!
This is by far the best dash cam I've ever had! Great video quality, you can read all the license plates or street names in view. Night mode works great, very clear and bright videos at night. It was very easy to install. The suction cup is designed so well that it takes very little space. The best feature is the quick magnetic disconnect. I can easily take the camera with me when the temperature in the parked car gets extremely high, which it does all Summer. Putting it back in is just as easy. Great cam, great price!

Seemed ok but...
I am not sure about anyone else, but I had an issue with the plug for my outlet The spring in the plug I guess got dislodged or something and it failed to make a good contact to power the camera on. I tried to fix it but it is not one that you can screw off to tinker with. Long story short, the camera won't even power on now. All of this happened within the first month I had it. Installation was simple enough and the camera seemed ok for the little time I had it up and running. Curious to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Does the job
Has better quality video than I expected, and small enough to fit behind the review mirror. Some states will give you a ticket for things on your windshield so that's important. Suction cup mount is holding but took a few tries to get it to work just right. The magnet lock separation is an awesome feature so you can pop it out of the vehicle without removing the mount, and it holds very solidly. Be sure to buy a good quality large memory card. Having owned two for a year, one of them constantly resets to factory default on all settings like screensaver and video length. Neither shows any indication of having a "supercapacitor" and will immediately turn off with the car. Pretty sure when I bought them the description led you to believe it would work the parking mode from that "supercapacitor". It doesn't. Neither keeps good time so the timestamp is always off.
