2080TI FE Review
I had an Asus 2080 and that thing was big and loud. It would ramp the fan speeds up full for a few minutes, then back to normal, and it would do this a lot. I wanted something quiet as my case fans etc run silent. I was looking at the many TI designs, but found them all really big and bulky. I have no space restriction issue in my NZXT H440 case, but my Asus 2080 was huge and would sag (bend) due to the weight. I adjusted my PCI cables to lift the end of the card up slightly, but still it isn't something I wanted to do. I was determined to not get a huge bulky card. And yes, the Found Edition is big, but it isn't bulky. The card is sleek and thin, and doesn't sag at all. My main worry was without the bulky heatsinks etc, it would get hot and loud - Nope! It stays at 30° degrees idle, and gets around 40° under full heavy load. And its been really hot weather this week, so my room is very hot. Obviously these temps may vary in other cases etc, but my Asus 2080 was hitting 81° when under the same heavy load. The noise of my 2080 under load was loud. I've never heard this new 2080TI make noise! It's so quiet. And its all encased, thin design and only 2 fans compared to other cards. Honestly I was expecting it to get hot and loud, but nope! Very impressed! So, performance is excellent. I was playing Total War Thrones of Britannia at 1440p. I had everything max except the AA which was turned off. My 2080 was hitting 50fps and getting 80° hot and very loud. The 2080TI FE plays the game on max everything, AA x8 full, 1440p, 80fps, never gets over 40° and is silent. For those who don't play Total War ToB, the game is extremely beautiful and demanding on the GPU. Other games I play are Read Dead Redemption 2, amazing fps on that too. So I paid £1,000 for this card. Yes, it is a lot. I had the cash spare so bought it. I've spent more money on other things and felt, well, I'd wasted my money. But I honestly feel happy with this purchase. It's your shout if you think its worth the money. I just found the Founder Edition beautiful and sleek - and it truly beautiful when you see it. I have Corsair Dominator RAM with silver heatsink headers, my Intel SSDs are both silver too, so everything matches really nice. If you like this cards style more than the others, don't be fooled by thinking it'll get hot, or loud, or won't be as good because its thinner, encased and only 2 fans etc. This card is amazing and, in my opinion, looks better. It depends what you're going for. My rig is stylish, sleek and tidy. Only issue.... you can't turn the green light off! Haha! Still, its nice to highlight to everyone your rig is boasting a RTX card. And when they get closer and see the embroided silver 2080TI on the faceplate! "Noiceee" Would buy again. Would recommend. Wouldn't change this Founder Edition for any other 2080TI! I love it!

I built a pc with this card specially for virtual reality. It performs great, I’m 100% satisfied. Although...This was my first, from the ground up, pc build. If I had to do it over I would consider changing only two things that I learned after the fact. The mother board and gpu. If you’re looking to buy this gpu, it’s worth your time to check out ( EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming, 11GB GDDR6, iCX2 & RGB LED Graphics Card 11G-P4-2487-KR https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KVKRLG2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.H7PCbQ2Z71GV ) About the same cost, but through my research I’ve found it out performs the founders edition a little bit. But I think we’re comparing Lamborghinis and Ferraris here, both are super cars. All my parts except for the case, I ordered off Amazon so it was easy and fast. Again, I’m super happy, I have built a rocket ship of a pc that has no problem running vr with the Samsung hmd odyssey. but I wish I’d of found the other info before I ordered. Mother board and gpu. I should of went with a gen 9 msi gaming board instead of a gen 8 for the cpu. I ran into a bit of trouble ( my own fault for not reading the fine print). But with a quick update to the bios it fixed the problem and I was up and running. unfortunately I had to buy the cheapest 8th gen cpu I could find (8th gen i3) to do the update in order to use my 9 gen i7. Not a mistake I will be making again anytime soon, it cost me an extra hundred dollars for 10 minutes of use of a CPU lol. Headline says it all; I obtained it about a week before its expected delivery time, and I have yet to actually be able to stress the card at all. There's no doubt it's incredibly expensive, but it's also incredibly powerful. The card itself is larger than it looks in pictures, so keep that in mind. Should fit in a mid- or large-tower, but make sure ahead of time you've got a place for a beefy card.

This graphics card is insane, in modern warfare you can raise the graphics up, abs or shoes you how much v ram you have left and i put all the setting in high and i didn't even reach half way, forza settings are in ultra. War thunder has a nice called movie and it is recommended not to game in, and it did over 150 fps. I don't recall the other fps but they definitely above 60
