Dallmayr Decaffeinated Ground Coffee, 17.6 Ounce

I was first introduced to this coffee brand over twenty years ago while in Germany and this is one of the best coffees in the world. It’s smooth and delicious whether it is the caff or decaf. I introduced my husband to this coffee brand during Covid when I saw that this could be shipped to the US and we continue to order this for our home since. It’s literally the best coffee to make at home.

Smooth, low acidity, rich flavor. Works with any brewing method. Doesn't jerk the nerves. Delicious. My sister married a man from the Netherlands who was appalled at the poor quality of American coffee. Refused to drink it. He always brought coffee with him whenever he came here. We had to agree that all the brands he brought from "home" were indeed vastly superior to any we found here. This was in the mid 70's in the lower Midwest so coffee wasn't the "thing" it is today - no Starbucks, Peets, etc. or gourmet disputes over different grinds, whole bean vs. pre-ground, coffee of the month clubs - on &on ad infinitum. Time passes, my sister & the Dutchman divorced & we all discovered Starbucks etc. Then I saw Dallmayer whilst browsing around Amazon & in a small fit of nostalgia I ordered a package. Now I'm hooked once again. I mix half decaf & half regular, sigh with happiness every morning & am determinedly attempting to convert friends & family into exclusively drinking Dallmayer coffee daily 😁 Highly recommend as the gentlest of light vices☕🌄🌷🌱🌼 ✨💗

Dallmayr is the best food market in Munich (in the middle of the city, a few feet from Marienplatz) and this is the best coffee they offer. Never met someone who was not impressed.

I can’t say enough about this decaf coffee—we’ve purchased it many times, and it’s consistently high quality with a great taste. The only downside is the price, which keeps increasing over time. I guess it’s that good! Highly recommend for coffee lovers seeking a premium decaf option.

Most flavorful coffee ever. Mild but tasty. Fast efficient delivery.

This is the 3 time that this product has been delivered damaged to me. And yet there is no solution to getting a replacement since I cannot return the item. It is very sad that I am out the money and product because it is damaged. The product is German coffee that is packaged (freezes dried) and the container is hard until it is opened. On the three times that the product is damaged the container is soft and I know that air has already leaked into the packaging. I sincerely hope that something can be done to resolve this issue.

I first fell in love with Dallmayr coffees when I went abroad to go to college in Munich, Germany, and my dormmates and I would head downtown to Dallmayer's delicatessen/backerei where we would spend an hour or two gossiping, practicing our German and drinking amazing cups of coffee while people watching out the front windows. Today I drink decaf and this is one of the best there is--tastes like a real cup of coffee and is wonderful, but I love European coffees. I use the coffee in both a drip coffee maker and my espresso machine and it works great in both (in drip coffee makers you should use less then you would of a regular grind coffee but play around with it to find your preferred preparation.) I recommend this coffee to anyone who is looking for a decaf but wants the taste of a good coffee. :)
