Does it lock when shut? If not does anyone know of any quality knives in the price range that do lock when shut?

It doesn’t lock when shut, however it won’t be coming open unexpectedly. It takes a nice nudge of the thumb in the right direction to open it. Not sure about knives that lock when they shut, I have over 200 knives in my collection and never seen one that locks shut.

Is the knife blade double sided?

No it is not. Only one side of the blade is sharpened. It is a great knife though.

Can the pocket clip be put on the opposite side??

Yes - there is a shield on the opposite side of the clip to allow for left and right handed carry. The shield can be switched using T-7 star driver. The knife may only be carried tip-up though. Great value for the money! Cheers!
