Durable, Sharp, and Great for Tough Materials!
This drill bit set exceeded my expectations! The cobalt M35 HSS bits feel extremely durable and handle tough materials like stainless steel and cast iron with ease. They stay sharp even after multiple uses, which is a huge plus. I’ve used them on metal, wood, and plastic, and they perform consistently well across the board. They cut smoothly without excessive force and don’t overheat as quickly as standard bits. The included storage case is also a nice touch—it keeps everything organized and easy to access. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable set that’s perfect for both DIY projects and more heavy-duty work. Highly recommend!

Great price, good quality
Pros: good price, does the work, dozen pieces, container keeps everything organized, cobalt coating, Cons: I don't see any So... This was an easy choice, compared to what's available right now locally and online this is a very good price for this, and it came with a dozen in a case that doesn't take too much space in my tool bag, I used to like the metal cases until they start to smell and rust, so for expendables like bits this is perfect. Easy to use, because it's easy to open. Good quality, sharp edges makes this my go to bit drilling. And the case is bendable enough but won't tear up my fabric too bag.

No issues
At $1 each I think these are a pretty good value. They seem to be a decent length you don't want them to be any longer because when it comes to small bits like this the longer they are the easier they are to break. I love that they come in a nice little plastic case to keep them from rolling all around and you don't have to fidget with an envelope or a bag every time you want one. And when all your bits are gone you can repurpose the case which adds value. They seem to be a sharp bit and the coating seems to be good and they start nicely without having to punch a divot. I do auto body and I come across a lot of very hard materials such as high strength steel and ultra high strength steel which I have not yet tried these on. I have tried them on mild steel sheet metal and drilled at least a dozen holes and have had no issues. Time will tell how good these bits are and how well they sharpen but as for now I think there is value in this product and I probably wouldn't hesitate to purchase them again

Good 12 piece 1/8” drill bit set!
I got these Tech Hyren 1/8” drill bits for various projects. We have used them on wood and aluminum so far and they worked well for both of these. They maintained their strength and are still sharp after using them on those materials. They are a decent value for the money and according to my fiancé, they performed well enough on these materials (wood and aluminum) I like the case that these come in and that there’s 12 in this set. I know he’s always having bits break and needing more in this size, so these are great to have on hand.

Quality cobalt drill bits and a good value!
[ 12 Cobalt 1/8" Drill Bits ] It seems as though I go through quite a few smaller drill bits, especially when working with a cordless drill out in the field. These Cobalt bits look good and performed well in my testing. I tested them on hardwood (maple), aluminum bar stock, 1/4" steel angle and heavy stainless steel sheet. They cut as you would hope - nice clean holes with minimal pressure. I then tried drilling a thicker piece of 304 stainless from a circular saw guide bar with disappointing results. I retried using my drill press and cutting oil - still no go so I switched to my ‘best’, proven 1/8” bit and it too failed to touch that stuff. So, all that proved to me was that there are some metals (tool steel?) that I shouldn’t try to drill. No fault of these bits! One thing that did come out of that test is that the 135° tips on these bits didn’t wander at all, even without having center-punched. The other bit (118°) was a challenge to get started; wandering all over. These are going to be my go-to bits in the future! Quality at what seems like a fair price.

They Work and Are a Bargain
These bits are very sharp and aggressive, especially for their size. I used these to bore out some holes in 1/4" mild steel, the first hole I drilled and it immediately grabbed and sucked the bit through in a couple of seconds instead of the typical 10-15 seconds of effort. Because of this, the sides of the flute took some noticeable scuffing but nothing that impacted the cutting ability. Once I developed a lighter touch with these they became amazing bits. If your using these with steel make sure to get some Tap Magic and use judiciously. Then hang on for dear life and try not to let the flutes bite and gouge . Not 100% sure about long term durability but I drilled 8 holes in the afore mentioned steel plates then reamed them out with the same bit, no signs of dulling yet. For the price these can't be beat.

an acceptable budget-friendly set
The 12‑piece cobalt drill bit set is decent for light to moderate use, but it didn’t fully meet my expectations. The bits handle softer metals, wood, and plastic without much trouble, and the storage case is convenient for keeping everything organized. However, when drilling into harder materials like stainless steel or cast iron, the bits dulled faster than I hoped. They still get the job done, but not as efficiently or cleanly as higher‑end cobalt bits I’ve used before. Overall, it’s an acceptable budget-friendly set for occasional projects, but not the most durable option if you regularly work with tougher metals.

Good quantity and performance so far for the price.
1/8" drill bits are probably my most common size that I use the most. That said, I tend to go thru them more often. I drilled some holes into some hard wood on a drill press and the they drilled fairly quickly and cleanly. I then switched to a 1/8" thick steel plate. The drill had no issues with getting thru the plate. The hole was clean and the tip didn't wonder around starting. I didn't notice any difference on subsequent holes so the tip and edge are holding up. The price is good for the amount of bits you get and if they continue to hold up as tested, I'll be happy with them.
