The craftsmanship is very good and the art is tasteful. It is very solid on a desk or home altar, and the cross can be removed from the base should you want to for some reason (like you find yourself in extremis). A cross for the desk where one studies or prays is an excellent memento, and more “present” than a wall crucifix under many circumstances. I am very pleased with this purchase.

The corpus and cross look nice and will be perfect for our confirmation gifting. The base is nice and heavy. The cross fits loosely into the base, so it's a little wobbly.

Stunning, amazing quality, heavy and detailed. So beautiful and inspirational for my prayer time. I would have expected to pay three times more for this high end crucifix ! I had been looking so long for one just like this on a stand, that I could afford. I was just filled with joy when this arrived packaged as a gift and so carefully so it could not break. Workmanship is very good. The fact that is disassembles into two pieces allows me to transport it from site to site when I conduct Communion Services, as a Minister of the Eucharist for our church, at Retirement Communities and at the homes of homebound individuals. Several people have commented on the Cross' beauty.

Just what I needed. It completes my Altar. The crucifix frame and base is made to perfection. There is some looseness when put into the base, but this was rectified. Height of 12 inches with the base would have been better.

Beautifully made! The reviews about it not being entirely stable when connected to its base are accurate, and there are a few minor “scars” missing. But overall, it’s absolutely worth it, and I love it! Thank you!
