Easy to apply and works as it should.
Good product - excellent adhesion. Allowed me to repair the rear window defroster on my 2012 Chevy Tahoe. Color matches the black of that area on my glass, so the end result looks great. Functionality of the electrical circuit is restored and I have a clear rear window again. I am very happy with the results and recommend if your rear connector has come off.

This product WORKS!!
This product is exactly what you need to repair a broken defroster cable. If you're willing to do it yourself, you'll save hundreds by avoiding a professional repair job or even a window replacement. Best of all, you can do this from beginning-to-end in about 30 minutes total. I ordered this to repair a broken rear-window defroster cable on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler JKU Rubicon. I followed the very clear instructions, and even watched the how-to video to be extra-sure of the process (video is available on Youtube, and a link to it comes with the product). I sanded-down the base of the contact clip, mixed the epoxy, applied it to both the clip and the window, and put the clip on the window. It held securely. Since it was about 60 degrees outside, I used a hair dryer to apply direct heat for about 30 minutes to dry the epoxy. I then let the vehicle sit for about 2 hours to fully set-up before connecting the electrical cable to the clip. After doing so, the clip/cable were both solidly in place. I ran a test the next morning to ensure the defroster worked, and BINBGO! The defroster works just as well as it did the day it was new! Do yourself a favor and get this to fix your broken defroster cable. It's simple, inexpensive, and most importantly, it works! You'll be happy with the time & money you save by doing it yourself!

Works GREAT
I was pretty bummed when I found the rear window defroster, in my Jeep, stopped working. The wire had come off the glass. I tried a couple of things I thought would work...fail. I thought about soldering it, but I was told the glass could shatter (heat loading the glass). I saw this and thought "why not". If you follow the instructions (pay attention to the outside temperature) and it works GREAT. I was thrilled when I got my rear defroster back. Highly recommend this stuff.

Concise instructions, performs great!
March 2019: I had read reviews of this product and it seemed to be the most reliable solution out there to bond a defroster tab back to my rear window defroster. Based on my experience, I concur with those reviews as they matched my experience. The directions are simple and clear. Take your time and prepare the tab and the bonding site per the instructions. I used a hair drier rather than a heat gun to cure the epoxy. My thought was that the hair dryer produced a larger volume of heated air than the heat gun. I felt comfortable heating a larger area rather than a smaller spot. I took care to use an HVAC thermometer to make sure the temperature at the installation site was within the limits specified by the installation instructions. Just to get an idea how well the epoxy cured, I stuck the paper that I used to mix the epoxy near the installation site so that the I'd be able to test the results of the cure. After 30 minutes of the hair dryer at 144 degrees F, I tested the epoxy on the paper - I could flex the paper but the epoxy did not break, crack or chip. I also tested the cured epoxy with a ohmmeter and sure enough - the cured epoxy was conductive and had little if any resistance. I strongly suggest that you follow the directions and perform the repair with an ambient temperature of 60 degrees F or higher. Otherwise, the thermal stress on the class could cause a stress crack to form at the repair site. If you have easy access to the repair site, it's going to take you around 60 to 75 minutes to complete the entire repair from prep through putting the connector back on and testing your work. Update August, 2025: This repair held up with no issues. I sold the car and the rear defroster repair was still working.

This Works!
Worked awesome! Mix 50/50 of both tubes and stir together. Thickens up like JB weld and adhered to glass and tab very well. A little pricey for what it is, but I have used the cheaper ones before that only work 50% of the time. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent product. The best I have tried
It works really well as per the instructions. The mixture has a thick consistency that holds the tab in place till sou start applying the hot air to it. I also used it to fill the scraped areas and at the end I had a full electrically conductive surface and my defogger worked again. I tried other brands but they failed to stick. You get what you pay for!

Just what the window ordered.
I was a little skeptical at first, but after seeing a few YouTube videos, I was convinced. Sure there are kits that can be found at half the price (Per-ma-tex), but they're garbage. Buy once, cry once. This fixed our defroster tab that was broken in a used vehicle we just purchased. Only took about a half hour. Following the included directions and you'll be good. Highly recommended.
