Do you go back over the carpet with plain water to "rinse" it when you're done?

I do. Otherwise, the carpet ends up with soap left in it, I think. I rinse until the water coming up doesn't look sudsy anymore. (My machine has a switch to just use plain water from the water portion of the tank, so it's pretty easy to do. My old machine was such that I had to finish cleaning, then fill with plain water to do a rinse.)

Can this be used with the bissell 3624 spotclean carpet cleaner?

With two toddlers and a sectional, I need a cleaner that actually works. I used this with our Bissell upright machine after a forgotten melted candy situation, and it pulled the stains right out, like it never happened. The formula is powerful but doesn’t have that strong chemical smell, which I really appreciate. It leaves everything looking clean and fresh without feeling stiff or crunchy.
