One of the greatest books ever written... Before "The Secret", there was "The Biggest Secret"
I was exposed to the works of David Icke through Chris Athanas and Jeff Contreras on Austin Public Access in the late '90's... I never expected how I would feel when I first read "The Biggest Secret".Familiar with the scams of the IRS, fiat money, and the global government, I still was not prepared for the information, suggestions, and ideas presented in "The Biggest Secret". This book shattered my reality tunnel and I am still trying to pick up the pieces. I could not look at the world the same way again, and many events in the world become more clear, more obvious, more transparent in the manipulation. We live in interesting times, and its time for all of us to have our belief systems challenged. If we want the world to change, it starts with us.The most beautiful thing about this book is the final chapter. Despite the groundshaking opening chapters, the ending really brings it all together. Resonant energy, love, and fear are the glue of our universe, and the manipulation of those energies by people who would control us are very real. Before "The Secret" was telling people about "asking and they shall receive", Icke was providing the same message. "The energy you send out will come back to you", with the crowning statement being "You create your own reality".Its nice to see David Icke commenting on secret societies and other world issues on the History Channel and other mainstream sources. The word is out now.Thank you, David Icke, for lighting that stick of dynamite and blasting me into the future for my continued emotional, political, and spiritual growth.

Wake up People!
From the first page, it had my interest. The way the book was put together added a piece of a giant puzzle. Astounding research, but gut wrenching to feel that EVERYTHING you ever thought you knew and BELIEVED is not anywhere close to what is in this book. Read it ,without judgment, and wait for the truth to hit you smack in the face in our near future, however it plays out...true or not!

where do you start reviewing a book like this? Before I read the book I thought ...
Wow, where do you start reviewing a book like this? Before I read the book I thought David Icke was a lunatic. It was recommended to me by someone whom I respect so I read it, and found myself hooked. I still think David Icke is a lunatic, but found myself increasingly wishing that there were more like him in the world. As the poet Dryden said "There's a pleasure sure in being mad, which none but madmen know". It could just be that Icke is one of the only sane ones in a world of mad and deluded people. This book really does make you start looking at the world from the other side of the coin. At once facinating and yet profoundly disturbing, this book really did change the way I think about the nature of power, and how it is wielded, often in our name but seldom to our benefit. On the cover is the line "The book that will change the world". I don't think it will, unfortunately, because it won't be read by enough people, simply because of the reputation of its' author, David Icke. This is a shame, because much of what it contains is truly thought provoking. I give it four stars because as a work it is staggering in the breadth of it's research and yes, erudition, and also because of the breath taking audacity of it's author in presenting ideas which will expose him to ridicule and censure by the masses. It's an effort that I truly applaud and was impressed by. I deducted one star though, because it is sorely in need of a good editor to precis it down in places, fact-check in other places, and edit out some of the repetition and occasional lack of credibility of certain statements and assumptions. I am not refering here to the central and massively explosive themes of the work, but just to the writing style, the improvement of which would make this book accessible to and read by a wider critical audience.I started the book thinking David Icke was a lunatic. I finished it thinking how much I would like to buy him a beer and sit down and talk with him for a few hours.

Mind boggeling
This is not a book one can read lightly. This is a book you study. Very deep into historical facts and geography which I love. The concepts are certainly controversial and this must be read with an open mind. Revealing and sometimes scary information. It parallels the thought process in other books coming out at this time. David Icke was way ahead of the game and there must have been times he feared for his life. I'm sure anyone who "mattered" chalked him up as a nut case. Perhaps by now it would be more dangerous to eliminate him than to let him continue to lecture and write. Since starting this book I have noticed many comments through social media which indicate that he has a huge following of believers. I would certainly recommend this tome to those who have the courage and open mindedness to read it and process the information. Not for the feint of heart or for those who subscribe to strict religious practices. You may not like the light shed on those. I find it enlightening and validating. If this is the first time you have encountered this line of thinking you are in store for a wild ride. Stick with it and give it your attention!
