NXT Tour Recycled Golf Balls, 36 Pack

The 3 dozen balls came in a plastic pack. Purported to be in very good or better condition, I looked at each ball - most were unmarked and, per the plethora of corporate logos, I suspect many of these balls had never been played - likely surplus corporate outing balls sold back to supplier at a discount for resale as 'recycled' balls. I've bought used balls in the past - one supplier blatantly lied about the condition of them and another actually had other [inferior] model balls included in the mix. This supplier did me right and I'm re-ordering; IF they send me another 3 doz like the last ones, I'll be satisfied. If not, I'll post a follow-up.

What you think you are buying and what your recieve are two different stories. They are advertised as like new condition however I find half of these balls to be even considered playable. Many had scratches, cart path dings, actual small pieces missing from shell from a brush with a lawnmower, browning, no paint left, they’re horrible: If you’re looking to get cheap golf balls with half the shell missing look no further.

After reading other reviews I feel like I knew exactly what to expect and, for better and worse, I got it. The balls arrived in a flat cardboard box with no divisions so as soon as I took a few out, they started moving around. No big deal, I put most of them in my bag, but that left a huge, awkward container with only a few balls remaining. Less than ideal, especially compared to some of the fitted, reusable clamshell cases I've received with other recycled balls. As far as the balls go, they were primarily great with a few scuffed exceptions to the rule. You get what you pay for and I'm not complaining, but I also don't feel like I got away with a steal. At least half the balls were pristine, maybe they'd been putted but that's about it. I counted about 5 that had clear signs of wear - scuffs on the cover, etc. but nothing unplayable. Just balls that I save for holes with significant water. The remainder were balls that had probably been played a few holes - the logo was scuffed or the like. Overall, very happy for the price. I didn't mind the varying logos, numbers, etc. I knew what I was getting - playable balls at a discount. Four stars because the scuffed balls should have been caught be anything over a cursory inspection and there were too many for it to be coincidence.

Disappointed. These balls are not in excellent condition. Most are in fair condition. Some x-outs and some refinished balls. Not as advertised. These are range balls at best.

These balls came in a mesh bag. There are a mix of NXT Tour balls, with a few NXT Tour 2007 balls (you can tell by the extended putting line). Of the 36, 26 were in fantastic shape and the other 10 were just ok, but certainly playable. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of balls included. I love playing NXT Tour balls, compared to cheaper balls. Just went out last weekend and shot one of my best rounds ever with these. They are very long off the tee and have a great feel around the greens. For just over $1 per ball, this was the best price I found for these NXT Tour balls. UPDATE 5/20/2010: Just ordered this item again and this time the balls came in cardboard boxes rather than the handy mesh bag. The quality of the balls is slightly better this time around, so I am again pleased.

The balls are OK. The sort that if you found them in the rough you'd toss them in your cart and play them when you ran low. Certainly nothing you'll say to your buddys, "Hey, check these out! I got a great deal." The numbers were worn off on about a third of them. Several had some pretty significant nicks. But playable.

These golf balls do not show any reconditioning at all. Very dirty, dingy and faded. They don't even look like they have been cleaned. Will not purchase again. All are logo balls.

The balls are almost all in excellent condition. You can't beat a $4 ball for a buck. The logos don't bother me at all. These balls fly well for me and last. I recommend them to any average golfer who wants to play a really good ball but doesn't want tho pay full price for them.

Some old, some new as expected. No damages balls in the lot.
