What exactly is 6:1, 6 parts black to 1 part red/purple? TIA

According to the package: "Organic Traditions Black & Red-Purple Maca X-6 is a 6:1 raw, cold gelatinized concentration of 80% black, 15% red-purple and 5% yellow Maca. Six pounds of these three fresh maca root varieties are condensed into one pound of powder."

Does maca contain caffeine?

No, this product is caffeine free

No I didn't find it to be like jello. It's not gelatin. It's a powder that you can add to liquids and mix in completely. I usually add it to smoothies in small amounts because it does alter the taste some.

How can I tell the difference between a regular powder than this concentrated one??? If analyzing both, what should be the difference???

Yes- more concentrated is better. http://longevitypower.com/ sells a much more concentrated maca and others. You could email him as well.
