[GNTea] Vegan Black Lotus Root Tea (bulk) 2.8oz (bottle of 1)

First I've tried GNTea Black Lotus Root Tea that comes in tea bags. Even though I bought it for it's health benefits I've enjoyed the taste a lot. But I kept thinking how much of the money I'm paying is going towards those fancy individually wrapped bags. Then I discovered this type of packaging and decided to give it a try. Same great taste but cheaper. Thanks to the nature of the lotus root tea you don't need an infuser and it doesn't get messy without the bag. After I'm done with my cup of tea I give a slice of lotus root to my dog. So now she enjoys it with me :) They recommend using 3-4 rings per cup, but my cups are quite large and I enjoy it stronger so usually use about 5 rings. It actually comes in a nice jar as on the picture. The only thing to note is that the jar is actually plastic not glass (as you might expect looking at the picture).

I bought these for cocktail garnishes having an idea in mind but this was not at all what I was hoping to receive. They’re so dry even to steep in tea, the water gets cold before there’s any flavor (which is horrible) at all. The flavor you do get is something like dried cat poop. (Not that I know what that tastes like, but that smell 🤮)

I don't think it has any beneficial ( health wise) properties, but it taste good. A little too pricey for the amount of tea. It was ok for one time only.
