good size mug, thicker glass than expected. i did already find a chip on one glass near the handle and i haven’t dropped/knocked them around so i’m interested to see how these will last over time.

Best for hot chocolate and soup . Quality is nice and size is bit large . Easy to handle and clean . Its value for money packs. Weight is heavy and design is good and highly recommend it

One mug came with a flaw around the edge which is fine, not pretty but still usable and one came with a chip that is probably okay too. Otherwise for the price they are pretty good.

It is true that these cups are slightly smaller than advertised but only by a couple of ounces. The reason I purchased them is to replace the ones that I bought at The Dollar Tree which broke and all Dollar Trees, in my area at least, do not carry them any longer. They are my favorite cup/bowl for breakfast. I can microwave my scrambled eggs in them, eat cereal, yogurt fruit and granola, warm up soup, etc…. They are crystal clear and the perfect size! I LOVE them! Appear of high quality and are packed securely. See photos. Will absolutely reorder if I need to!

To be clear, this review is about -- 16oz Glass Jumbo Mugs With Handle For Coffee, Tea, Soup,Clear Drinking Cup,Set of 6, Brand: Maredash https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G4B17JT?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details The cups look and feel decent with noticeable\visual imperfections --nothing to whine about given this items price-point. For me (arthritis), it fits my hands well. I can manage to hold a cup full of liquid with a sliced lemon using just my index finger through the handle along with my thumb; while the remaining fingers are outside the handle. Using both the index and middle finger within the handle is a tight fit; but is decidedly more stable (arthritis). Let's agree on this --it's glass. That said, user beware when working with heated contents and/or applying heat. The main application (here) was to heat bottled H20 mixed with fresh/raw sliced Ginger in a separate glass-pot, once completed, serve in this 'glass cup'. This went well given I did not place a metal spoon in this glass-cup before pouring from the unrelated glass-pot. I did this knowing the glass-cup was at ambient temperature and the heated Ginger-water was allowed to stand and cool down substantially before the transfer. Here's where this product begins to fail my purpose; After making a six-cup batch of Ginger-water, I would let the unused portion sit for hours, ginger remaining in the H20, ultimately reaching ambient temperature. When ready, I simply poured another cup of the mix into the cup --both glass-pot with mixture and glass-cup are at ambient temperature, placed the cup on a hot-plate, set the dial to #02. This setting of #02 has been tested numerous times and will maintain a temp of 135-142\F after twenty minutes. When warming the mix in this cup, I only need ten minutes, just enough heat to help quicken the dissolve of the honey I intend to use. I've done this --with this exact cup numerous times; no issues. Somewhere between the 3rd and this last attempt, the cups bottom completely separated from its upper body; while heating on the hot-plate.. I cannot, I will not blame the OEM. However I would strongly suggest they provide more details about their products. There's no way ten-minutes on low direct heat should have broken this cup. I intend to continue this application in an effort to find out: if this will happen again or was this a one time occurrence. I'll update ... 20221007 --Update: Product being returned for a refund; see pictures. DETAILS: short version -- Two of the glass-cups broke approximately one week apart while heating per-mixed ginger water (made with sliced fresh ginger), and a slice of fresh lemon cut in quarters. With this second occurrence, the glass-cup 'popped/cracked' when the temperature reached 109.7\F. This product seems to progressively get weaker with each direct heat application; until it ultimately breaks. Within five to seven days of usage, these glass-cups have --popped/cracked and separated the bottom from the top. Consider yourself notified; see images ...
