Gorgeous boot!
Magnanni is usually a 1/2 size larger but this boot may be slightly more. A good sole insert will help with a 1/2 smaller order. I'm usually a 9.5, so I ordered a size 9.Its much lighter, more a tobacco-yellow sunburst but I'm not complaining. It is much more stunning and good looking than in the picture.Definitely a noticeable boot and I've received many compliments on it.

I love magnanni shoes - i have several pairs
I love magnanni shoes - i have several pairs. They are made of amazing quality/worksmanship. The only thing that is difficult is sizing. I wear 10.5 in Nike and 9.5 to 10 in most dress shoes. In all my Magnanni shoes i am a 9

Amazing boots with a touch of class
I generally only do reviews if I think a product is worth five stars and these Magnanni Marcelo boots from Spain are no exception. The cognac coloured boots that I chose are quite handsome and will dress up just about any outfit you wear. They are entirely wrapped in a very soft and good quality leather with a beautiful burnished effect throughout that will definitely get attention and compliments. The stitching and overall craftsmanship is top notch and there wasn't a single flaw in the pair I received - and I am very picky when it comes to my gear.I paid about $630 CAD in total including taxes, duties, shipping and exchange rate (Oct/2015) to Ontario, Canada so these boots are definitely on the expensive side but totally worth it in my opinion. I've worn them with denim, chinos as well as both olive and dark grey cotton twill trouser pants and they totally changed the look of my outfit. I went from looking casual to smart, dressy casual. I've worn them many times and have definitely received attention and compliments. These hand crafted boots have a unique, burnished look that isn't common in shoes and are obviously made to last many years so will age beautifully as the patina of the leather changes over time.Although these boots look incredible in the Autumn with all the changing colours, I plan on wearing them all year but only on dry days in the winter and never in the rain, if possible. I conditioned them immediately after taking them out the box usingย Leather Master Leather Care Kit - 250ml ย (what I use for the leather in my Porsche as well as my shoes) and will continue to clean them regularly (once a month) over the many years I plan on keeping them. I wouldn't recommend using these as your all around boot for all weather conditions but hey, it's your money.SIZING:As far as the sizing goes, I am a size 9 in all my shoes except for Magnanni, which run a full size bigger than my feet. I also have a pair of Magnanni Cris Oxfords which I also had to order in size 8. That being said, I removed the stock insoles that came with these size 8 boots and inserted a pair ofย Sof Sole Men's Airr Orthotic Performance Insole (9-10.5) . They felt snug during break-in and now fit perfectly as using the stock insoles left me feeling like the boot was a bit too big. Don't forget, leather will stretch a bit over time, too. I originally ordered these boots in a size 8.5 but had to return them as they were still a touch too large - even with the orthotic insoles inserted.Interestingly, a friend of mine whose own shoe sizing is approx 9 - 9.5 tried on my boots both with and without the orthotic insoles. Since his foot is slightly bigger than mine, he preferred wearing the size 8 Magnanni Marcelo's with just the stock insoles and said they fit well.On a side note, I ALWAYS replace the insoles in all of my shoes as the difference in comfort and feel is night and day. Highly recommended especially if you wear your shoes longer than a few hours per day.Anyhow, I've left a few photos. If anyone has any questions or wants more photos feel free to ask. I'll come back in a year or so to update this review with some 'aged' photos. Thanks and hope this review helps.Edit: Added photos after 2 years of use.

Best Looking Boot I Have Come Across
Best looking boot I have come across! Impeccable build quality and super soft leather. This is 3 times the amount I would usually spend on a pair of boots but when they look this good and I can walk around for hours its hard to argue against the price. I did have to return the original pair and order a half size down.

The Boots fit snug but not tight - perfect. Only complaint is insole is a bit firm rather than soft but that can be corrected with a insole insert.

Excellent shoe, worth every penny!!
This shoe is well constructed with obvious quality. The leather is gorgeous and extremely soft. The outsole looks durable and strong. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an excellent fall/winter boot!

The fit was perfect from the get go
I bought my first pair of Magnanni's (a shoe) after trying on a pair at Nordstrom. The fit was perfect from the get go, and while expensive, they were worth it for the comfort and looks. I wasn't disappointed with these boots. Fit great, have a good heel for some added height and nice and comfortable.
