I bought this because the door and a couple of windows let in chilly air and a bit of noise. I wanted a simple, cut to fit seal that could cover a large gap without a lot of fuss, and the 18 foot roll seemed like it would cover more than one spot. Applying it was straightforward. I cleaned the frames, peeled off the backing, and pressed it along the edge. It sticks well to wood and painted surfaces, and I was able to cut to size with scissors. The material stays flexible even when it gets colder, so it doesn’t crack or peel in winter. What stood out most is how well the design blocks drafts and softens noise. The perforated holes seem to help ease the door when it closes, so there is less slam and vibration. It also blocks light and wind more than I expected for a simple strip. One small caveat is that the adhesive needs a clean, dry surface and a smooth edge to hold best, so I prepped the frame a bit. The install is quick and straightforward, and the results are worth it. Overall, it earns five stars for reducing drafts with minimal effort.

It has a great adhesion along as you wipe the old door frame down. Good durometer. Fit was cut to size and perfect on three sides. I would but again

This product does what it's supposed to do. Purchased initially to seal gaps causing draftiness from the windows and doorways. Recently repurchased to line window screens to keep mosquitoes from getting in. We have old double hung windows from the 1920s that had the counterweights removed, so the only way to keep the window open is with the lower half of the window resting on the top edge of the window screen. The fit was never perfect and there was a gap large enough for bugs to get in at night. This weather stripping applied on the top edge of the window screen has solved our dreadful mosquito problem. The only thing about it is the adhesive doesn't last long. It's strong enough initially but depending on where you use it, you might want to use super glue to make sure it stays adhered.

Worked for what I needed. Wanted to seal my Traegers pellet bin from when it rained. So far, so good!

This was incredibly easy to install. The hardest part was removing the old, flattened, cheapy foam stripping from who-knows-when. Installed on an old, ugly door frame as per the pic and still does a great job. This stuff felt fairly sticky but wasn’t sure how well it would stick to the door frame trim. One definitely shouldn’t have to worry about that as once it’s stuck, it’s stuck. Just barely push it on as you go and if you don’t get it in the right spot you can still adjust it. Once it’s in place just firmly push it and you should be good to go. I also recommend peeling away the paper-backing a little at a time as you go to avoid unwanted stickage to other structures or hairy cat butt-hairs and the like messing up your sticky goodness. This stuff is much thicker than the usual foamy stuff. This is rubbery, hollow tube-like stripping and it’s great for filling in spaces but can get flat where it needs. The only “complaint” I can come up with is that it seals so well (I’m talking absolutely no light making it through) and is thicker than the usual junk that I have to slam-a-lam-a-cram the door shut. Seriously not much of a thing for me but, something to keep in mind. Definitely glad I purchased this and I can say I highly recommend it.

We have tried different brands over the years and this one is TOPS. Very sticky and great shape to seal the door. So easy to apply. The last cold snap had cold air pouring through the side of the door. This has closed it. The types we tried in the past were too flat and did not seal completely. This D shape is the best. It will pay for itself in the first week of heat savings. 5 STARS for sure.

The backing can be pesky while you try to peel the adhesive protection off the strip, but still a 5 star review. I'm buying more. Such a strong adhesive! I cleaned with rubbing alcohol and used a hair dryer on the would be strip surface before applying. So easy to apply! I even back-tracked, pulled it up reapplied sometimes more than once.

As per the specifications, surface cleanliness is a critical factor in achieving optimal results.

j'ai au préalable découpé le bourrelet en caoutchouc qui avait séché de façon à avoir une surface plate et propre des 5 fenêtres d'une caravane soit 19m de joint , que j'ai posé sans aucune difficultés après un petit nettoyage du vieux joint à l'acétone : collant parfait ainsi que l'épaisseur pour un prix correct.

Not sure why people are complaining about these not sticking. Once they are on they aren’t coming off. I’m a contractor and have I’ve used a dozen of them and they all worked great. You just need to make sure the surface is clean and smooth. Common sense.
