Wife wanted lights up- but since suffering spinal injury- I cannot do it. After looking at solutions for her to do it- these clips and the additional tool made it easy for her to apply the lights to the fascia board - all from the ground! Bit of a learning curve to get the coordination of pressing on and releasing on taller spots. We broke 3 on the entire run- VERY HAPPY WIFE. Telescoping applicator rod and these clips are EXCELLENT!!!

They higher i went i really thought it was going to break but it didn't!! It did a wonderful job. Easy to use. Video was very helpful. I hung my first set of lights!!

If you need a tool to help put your icicle lights up then this is your new best friend. I’ve been putting up icicle lights on a two story house since 2017. I wished I had this back then but it is so easy to use and the clips are fantastic. The two end pieces that can be switched out are both easy to attach and remove. Attaching the roof clips onto the product are so easy but what I was shocked the most on was how simple it was attaching the clips to the roof would be. There was only one peak on the house that I couldn’t reach but that’s not the products fault. I would highly recommend this for anyone. I would suggest if you are using a lot of lights for the roof and not gutters, get the extra clips. If I could give this product a 10 star rating I would.

Ok so this thing actually works! I could not give it a 5/5 because it is a little bit tricky to use. You have to pre clip the clips before you start popping in as the cable clip is hard to get in. Also, when doing higher areas, the clip head doesn't work very well, but the hook claw thing helps. These two heads should have been included instead of laying extra for it because it won't work without the two heads.

I didn’t have a tall enough ladder to reach my gutters to hang Christmas lights. This allowed me to hand my lights in about 15 minutes. Easy to use, saved me a ton of time and money hiring someone or buying a bigger ladder. The clips are flimsy, and I broke one. But they give you lots, so I had enough. It’s a bit hard to get the lights on with no slack between the clips and they started to sag a bit. That was my first time using it, so next time I’ll make sure the light is flush with the clips so they can’t move.

REALLY wanted to like this product! It worked incredibly for handing the lights up to my son on the roof. The were too flimsy to hold my lights under the shingles, so my son had to get on the roof anyway. Was excited about how easy it was going to be to take the lights down. The lever that moves the grabber and broke after removing only three clips. Paid decent money for this, really upset it wasn't better than the $10 version.

Not as easy as they make it out to be and if you have a clay tile roof almost impossible to attach the clips if the tiles are not loose. I was still able to hang the lights but definitely needed a ladder and I only have a single story house!

These light clips are hard to find. I have been using them for some time and these are a great convenience for placing lights on the gutters for Christmas. I am thankful that I can still get these. I have a special painter's extendable pole, that will reach 26 feet up. (104 year old house) It takes practice but is doable. When it is time to remove the lights, (this is the best part) It is a snap with a threaded paint roller handle I modified into a hook. Just reach up with this pole & hook, and catch the gutter clip, and push up. Bam!!! off comes the clip with the lights. No ladder is necessary. Awesome!!
