1000-Watt voltage converter + sewing machine = happy quilter
Worked perfectly in New Zealand to run my US Janome 6600 & led light. I had no problems setting up and using it for hours. The only problem (my own fault) was that it had a US plug in cord, I had wanted one with a NZ cord. I had to purchase a universal adapter so I could plug it in, which I didnโt really like doing. It felt unsafe & like I was piggybacking extension cords BUT it worked just fine and did not overheat or spark. I would recommend product for any quilter wanting to use their US sewing machine abroad.

Would recommend
GREAT product. I used this when we traveled europe and it defintley came in handy. it has all the adapters but the main reason why i got it was to be able to use it with clippers when i cut my hair and shaved. US clippers use 60hz and EU uses 50 so this bumps it so your clippers run like theyre supposed to. I did some research before ordering and there are people selling this for over 100 bucks. dont be fooled, this worked perfectly. and it also has 4 usb outlets. 2 are 2.1 and 2 are 1.2. i also used it for my external battery charger for my 18650 batteries.

NOT CONVERTING 50Hz TO 60Hz
Itโs OVERPRICED for this device which is very similar to regular and cheaper transformers. They said in discription that it converts 220V to 110-120 volts which is right. But the fake description is that It only converts the voltage, not the frequency. So if you connect it to 220 - 240 50H, then it gives you 120V 50Hz not 60 Hz which causes a loud noise in my hair clipper like my other transformers which is even cheaper than this . I bought something else from another country, and my clipper is working fine now. It also doesnโt charge my dewalt battery too because it needs to be 120V 60Hz to charge my battery but now is 120V 50Hz which my charger canโt charge up my battery

Still going strong
I purchased this unit about 2 1/2 years ago to use in the Philippines (220v standrd power) when I need to run 110V appliances I have from the US, in particular my Keurig coffee maker. The commerical power supply in the Philippines is quite erratic so the voltage regulator function is useful and that allows me to power (and protect) my 220v refrigerator, too. The only thing missing for me is a timed delay in restoring power after an outage since the electric company is known to switch their power on and off quickly several times (which can burn out the compressor on the fridge.) I had to add a delay timer externally, and now the unit has functioned perfectly for over two years. I am very satidfied with this unit.

It actually coverts the frequency
With the high cost of most frequency converters, I wasn't expecting much from this unit but it does what it claims. Photos show 50hz direct from wall and 62.3hz though the converter. This is close enough. Only reason for 4 stars is that my device that requires 200w instantly trips the fault protection when turned on.

Toroidal transformer greatly improves efficiency
After a preliminary check for functionality of the Converter/Regulator, I removed the top cover and was delighted to find a toroidal transformer. The description does not mention this important feature. The toroidal transformer is more expensive to manufacture than a conventional transformer but is much more efficient. The toroidal transformer will be smaller and lighter than a conventional transformer with the same power rating. The LR-2000 is about 5 pounds lighter than the LiteFuse LT-2000 with a similar rating. The greater efficiency of the toroidal design means that the transformer will run cooler than a conventional transformer with the same load. The toroidal design typically generates less acoustic noise than a conventional laminated core transformer. The toroidal transformer is well worth the additional cost for this model.

Works great.
We purchased this transformer to use our European audio equipment in the US. It works great. Our audio is about 600W together, but we wanted a bigger transformer, just to be sure. Some previous reviews mentioned smell and/or noise (for other similar devices). Ours is very quiet, it only has a very little hum, but you have to put your ear on the device to actually hear it. The same with the smell. It has some smell, if you put your nose on it, otherwise nothing. The only slightly negative thing is that is its placement in the living room. It needs air to prevent overheating, so it needs to be in the open, and it does not look very great. But I am not complaining, this is an industrial device, after all, and listening to my CDs is a lot more important than the slight glitch in the living room design.

Sooooo helpful
I've been using this converter for years - never lets me down. It's very compact, so easy to pack. Comes with adapters for many regions, never had a problem connecting. Has sockets and usb ports, so this one adapter covers all my needs. And the voltage converter ensures that my clippers always work. High quality, useful , compact, and versatile.

I purchased NutriMax blender from a chinese retailer and they mistakenly send me 220v version (I live in Canada). Then I found out about this product, which does step-up of 110v to 220v. Ordered and arrived in two days or so. I am now using the blender with this without any problem. I didn't measure the exact wattage that is consumed. But I assume it is somewhere around 1800w at 220v. This is a heavy product. This also has a stabilizer. I am hoping to use it for my TV when not blending...!

The item was damaged and not as described/pictured. One of the reset buttons of the transformed was broken, and the power cable was not detachable. Detachable cable was one of my key factor for selecting this item.

I have my original post here somewhere and I am very happy to write that after all that time of using the voltage regulator CONTINUOUSLY since I bought it, it works great and never had a problem, other than the red power light not turning on, and the light of the voltmeter going on and off randomly. I usually use 2 to 3 KW at a time and I never tripped the breaker. I am a very happy customer!

We liked how this product worked until it stopped working. We used it to power our European coffee machine and kitchen mixer with hotplate. It was working fine until one day it just stopped going to 220v and got stuck around 140v. The appliances will no longer work because it's like they are not getting enough power, you can hear that in their motors. Really wish this product would work better because we were looking for something with two plugs to power our kitchen appliances in Canada.
