I recently purchased this liquid chalk and have been very impressed with its performance. It dries quickly on my hands, provides a strong grip, and helps reduce sweating during workouts. Whether I’m lifting weights, climbing, or doing gymnastics, it gives me added confidence and control. The chalk is easy to apply, spreads evenly, and doesn’t leave a huge mess like traditional chalk. A small amount goes a long way, and it lasts through multiple sets before needing to be reapplied. The compact bottle is also convenient to carry in a gym bag. Overall, this is a high-quality liquid chalk that delivers excellent grip and convenience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to improve their performance and maintain a cleaner workout environment.

It is easy to apply, just squeeze out a couple of drops on your hands and then mix it over your palms and fingers and wait 30 seconds and it looks like you have a thorough covering of chalk on your hands. It made it much easier to hold onto bars and other grip implements. It washes off afterwards easily.

This product helped so much during today’s heavy chest day. I had absolute grip on the handles and bars and the chalk did not dirty clothes or equipment. We still wiped down the handles and bars of the equipment as a courtesy but there was no mess on them. I could see a faint bit of chalk on the plates from grabbing them and putting on and off the bar or machines but that’s it. This product DEFINITELY works as intended and we used very little as needed. This bottle is actually a great size for the value. It will last a very long time and I’ll be buying another soon to have a backup. Will definitely buy again. Fits perfectly in my mini sports backpack, where I place it in the water bottle side pockets for easy access. Great product.

Update: It has an added scent to it now! Citrus! This liquid chalk is dense and provides for maximum grip when it dries! I can't even see my palms after I apply it prior to deadlifting 500+ pounds. If you are a deadlifter and pull serious weight, make this product your go-to! It has the consistency of paint, and not liquid soap, which is 99% of what other liquid chalk products are like; way too diluted. When applying approximately half a teaspoon of the product on your hands, its enough to literally create a thick, white chalk shell over your skin, providing a grip that is twice as good than using regular chalk. For best results with deadlifting, use this product with a barbell that has very sharp knurling (grip). CONS: It smells like jet-fuel mixed with acetone in its liquid form and it takes 20-45 seconds to dry depending on how much you use and how fast you wave your hands around to help it dry quicker. Adding a pleasant scent would be nice.. but seriously; I only care about the basic ingredients that yield powerful results! It does get a bit messy when handling smooth rubber, like the encasing on bumper plates, so just use a wipe or damp towel to clean the bumper plates you use and make sure the barbell you use is on a maintenance schedule for cleaning, as the chalk may build up in the knulring and mix with sweat and dead skin. (This is just basic maintenance that isn't particular to this product). RECOMMENDATIONS: It would be nice to see SPORTMEDIQ take it a step furthur and provide a Pro Grade v2 that is even thicker than this current product, matching a consistency of toothpaste. I would definitely try it out!

THIS.... Is SPORTMEDIQ Pro Grade Liquid Chalk, and something I learned right off the bat with this is that a little bit goes a long way! This chalk is big enough to buy and forget about buying it again, and I found it held up on big lifts just about as well as actual chalk. The biggest surprise was that it was slightly well-scented! When it comes to application, a pea-sized blob really does the job here for this, and just like other chalk, needs to be reapplied every few sets depending on how heavy of a lift you are doing, sweaty your hands are....etc. It goes on easily and dries quick, but not so quickly you can't spread it around. I would say this is quite similar to chalk, but not quite 100% chalk. It is great, don't get me wrong! However, I found for heavy heavy lifts I just prefer chalk. That is ok! Because 95% of the time this is the best option, especially if there is no chalk available at the gym. That being said, I now use chalk for Dumbells and lower weight lifts because this makes it so much easier to grip and prevent from sliding, and is so easy to put on why not? At the end of the day, this is about as good as it gets! From a great smell, easy application, and a bottle big enough to not think about getting new chalk before a new PR! I carry this in my gym bag every day, and think you should as well.
