This material is slick, which may prove useful to the right bowler and finger fit. The listing didn't mention this, which surprised me. It appears to be made of good material, sticks nicely in the thumb hole, and removes without residue. However I needed one with grip and have turned to another product. One star removed for lack of disclosure in the description.

Use this to tighten up my thumb hole on my bowling ball. Works well.

It fits in bowling ball and comes out when I replace it. That's good, right?

The depicted photo shows the thumb tape on a large diameter (approximately 3.25 inches) cardboard tube. This is the size of thumb tape I was expecting to get based on that picture, and the size that I was replacing. Instead, they sent me a roll of thumb tape that is wrapped around a cardboard tube that is approximately 1.25 inches in diameter. What's the big deal about that, you ask. The tape they sent me is significantly thinner, requiring 2 or 3 pieces stacked to equal the thickness of my previous tape, thus it is like I'm only getting 33 to 50 pieces of tape equivalent vs the 100 pieces I thought I was buying.

Overall good review. Use these to either fill out your thumbhole or assist with a smoother release (depending on the feel you prefer). I wish the adhesive was a little bit stronger. Any amount of moisture (i.e. sweat) on the skin it will come off very easily. So make sure you apply first thing and aren't sweaty at all lol.

This wide version is thicker and harder This is especially important when I need to take it out from my thumb slug. Last time I got some thinner version, it broke into pieces when I remove it！ Will keep on buy this
