Good Grips Swivel Peeler

EXCELLENT!!!! I had several peelers, including that stirrup-style one and they just were poor at peeling potatoes and carrots. I eat a LOT of carrots. Even my dogs eat carrots, they love them and beg when I'm making a salad. I replaced all my peelers and ordered this OXO peeler and I absolutely love it. The grip is easy to hold (I'm older, and ergonomic is key for arthritis.) The blade is nice and sharp, made short work of my carrots. It didn't want to nick my knuckles by being too wide. It's easy to manipulate safely. It's supposed to be rust-resistant, but that means, probably, you should dry it after you wash it. RECOMMENDED

This peeler peels like nobody’s business! It requires the lightest touch. Great for zest strips. Sharp but non-threatening.

High quality. Very sharp. I first bought one of these peelers in September 2021and loved it so much that I purchased a second one in March of 2022. It has been my only peeler since, now 5 years later it still works very well but has dulled slightly. So...Today 4/26/2026 I ordered a new one and decided to finally review this product. It fits comfortably in the hand, has never rusted. Please note that I have never put it in the dishwasher. I highly recommend this product.

I had an old vegetable peeler that was over 10+ years old and decided to upgrade to a newer one. I decided on this one since I have never been disappointed with any OXO products that I have purchased. And, this one did not disappoint. The blade is so sharp it peels like a charm. I mostly use it for peeling apples and was very surprised how easy and quick it peels. The handle has a comfortable grip. And, I like how it has a blade guard for when you are not using it.

I odered one of these a few years ago. I love that it’s sharp and cuts away the peel easily. It is so much less work and I feel, I am less likely to slip since I am not having to press hard as with other type peelers. I bought my mother in law one to replace her dull brand. Now she also loves them. She has arthritis and this one has made peeling an easy job instead of a painful one. It’s well worth the money, easy to use, and fits well in my hand. I would buy another if needed.

Awesome, but watch it is sharp!!

This peeler makes quick work of almost any peeling job. Carrots, cucumbers, apples, pears and peaches. Great design and value priced. This OXO peeler fits the hand well. It is dishwasher safe. A stainless steel blade that stays sharp for a very long time.

I purchased a potato peeler from one of the higher-end stores after being told that it was one of the best. This particular potato peeler did not last me very long and rusted. I came on Amazon, hoping to find something better and stumble upon this. I’ve had it since without any issues. I put it in the dishwasher when I’m done using it. There’s been no rusting. It is durable. Overall worth the cost.
