Tablecraft Clear Glass Butter Dish

I love having soft butter and having a covered butter dish makes it possible. This one is not overly big and clunky so it does not take up much room. It goes in the dishwasher and comes out beautifully. I bought one and liked it so well that I got another so that I could have one in the dishwasher and not have to wait for it to come out to put more butter in. I love having two so I can wash it after each full stick has been used. This dish holds a regular stick of butter. We usually by the box with half sticks and put 2 half sticks in. If you are careful to center your stick there is enough clearance on the sides and top for the cover. It's easy to nick the button a little when you are putting it on or taking it off, but honestly now that I can wash it after each use without waiting, it does not bother me at all. I guess I could get a roomier dish, but I prefer something that does not take up too much room on my counter. Consider getting two if you want to do like me and have one ready to go when you put one into the dishwasher. I know it's silly to get excited about a butter dish, but I really love this thing. The base of my previous butter dish shattered after sliding out of the dishwasher so we needed a new one. Liked the simple style of the dish so was looking for an exact duplicate to replace it with. I found it with this! The glass is clear and thick/sturdy; top fits on the base very well and it's just what we needed. Good quality at good price. Met expectations!

This butter dish is clear glass of high quality with no flaws or cracks. I washed it in my dishwasher (top rack) before using and it came out like a dream. A standard-sized stick of butter (the quarter to a pound) fits perfectly and the lid is easy to lift off and replace. The butter dish is simple yet elegant for any table and stays nice in the dairy compartment of my refrigerator. I can't believe this little gem is only 8 bucks! It is made in Taiwan and distributed from the USA.

We like our butter at room temperature, so I always have 2 butter dishes. That way I can have butter ready to use even when one dish is in the dishwasher. When we broke the lid to one of them I picked this to quickly and afford-ably replace it. Great everyday butter dish. My only complaint is that the lid is shaped in such a way that it is hard to pick up and put back on; especially if your fingers have even a little butter on them! the sides of the lid are slanted enough from bottom to top that it can be hard to get a good grip. I say this as a warning because I would never have thought to check for that in the image of the butter dish while shopping. Our other ones have always had straight sides so I was surprised that this one was different, and again, didn't know to look for this. Not a big issue, just thought you might want to know. Otherwise, really like it. The glass is very shiny and clear, comes out of the dishwasher looking great.

This device produces soft butter, safe from bugs, served right on your counter. It fits a standard stick of butter. It's everything you want it to be. Thick, good quality glass. Survived both racks in dishwasher. Haven't dropped it yet, but it's pyrex-thick. Price is great. This is the one.

I like this butter holder. The glass is thick and it looks simple and nice. The rubber on the bottom of the lid doesnt stay on well, so I just took it off and its fine. People who are complaining the its slippery, just wash or dry your hands. Thats what I do. I don’t like touching things all over my kitchen with dirty hands anyway… it makes for more to clean up. -.-.

looks great but when using with a normal stick of butter the actual Glass Butter Dish is just slightly too small and gets really dirty and smeared with butter quite quickly. If they made it maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch larger all around it would be perfect

It holds a standard size stick of butter just right so it doesn't take up too much space. I like the simple design. Dishwasher safe.

I am really pleased with this butter dish! Really thick, heavy glass in a traditional design. Could find no flaws in the glass and looks beautiful.

It's a butter dish. I wanted to write a review because I saw some confusion about this size of this dish- it is the perfect size for a stick of butter (the kind of butter sticks that come in cardboard boxes with 4 aluminum foil wrapped sticks inside.) It will NOT fit an entire bar of butter(454g), the kind that come in a single block wrapped in aluminum foil. I hope that's clear! It's smaller than many butter dishes made for those 454g blocks, which makes it great for my small kitchen. We will see how the glass stands up to wear & tear but tbh for 10$ I'm not particularly worried about it.
