Amazing product, easy too install. This make third time using it! Every time I install it, the product outlast the boots! Do a lot of fabrication, and lancing haven't had a problem yet!

Great product. The last pair I put it on the toe outlasted the rest of the boots. Extended the life of the boot and is very durable. Definitely use in a well ventilated area and follow directions for best result. Highly recommend this product. The smaller jar is enough to do a few pairs of boots.

Pretty good a few weeks in on a brand new pair of boots. Union concrete work for reference. If i have any reason to change this review later i will.

4 stars because I only just applied this product so I cannot speak for it’s longevity yet but I can already tell it is a durable & tough product. So far it seems to provide great protection to boots that get beat up. This products result solely depends on how you personally apply it. I do think it’s easy to apply if you take your time & follow the steps carefully. Found plenty of videos on YouTube. I chose this over tuff toe because it had great reviews and was half the price. After seeing several examples I realized many people’s boots looked messy because they brushed on the product as it was dripping from the applicator. I wanted mine to look nice & neat and as if it was apart of the boots design. See my application advice below: My 1st use so I was cautious & light w each coat. I chose to tape it off w electrical tape because it’s thin and flexible. I measured each toe box & placed 2 layers around the composite toe of my work boots very tight and pushing in to stick to each grove making sure no gaps where it could move under as it dried and made sure it stopped BEFORE where the top of boot bends. I also chose not to apply it onto the gum of the shoe so I taped that also. Cleaned w a boot brush & sanded. Then I dipped & swirled the brush to fully saturate it but tapped/wiped it off so it was NOT drippy as I applied a very light 1st coat slowly and made sure I went the same direction on each part of the toe cap to avoid it looking messy or lumpy. One of my toe caps was already starting to rip so I made sure to dab it in the rip to let the product fill that hole and start to cure so I could add more in the next coat. Once I got every part covered I checked for any drips over the tape & wiped w a dry paper towel. Let sit for 2 hrs in a warm & ventilated area. I chose my bathroom w a heater & the bathroom fan on to vent the smell. It is stinky but I work in construction so I’m used to harsh smells. If you’re not you may want to do this in a more open area. After 2hrs & the product was just tacky enough.. I repeated that process a 2nd time & made sure to fill the toe rip again. Let sit for 30mins or until a little tacky & applied a light 3rd coat carefully so not to remove the 2nd coat as I painted the same spots. Dried overnight in a warm area next to a heater & was able to wear to work after 24hrs.

Great stuff. Don’t need to spend $30 on other products!!! A 2oz jar got me 3 coats on a pair of boots. Applied some painters tape then used sandpaper.

Repaired my messed up torn up boots surprisingly well! The toe was flapped up and you could see the steel and I was able to put this stuff on had to kinda play with it but my boots were pretty messed up will purchase again!

I think in the future I would skip this personally atleast on mock toe boots. Durability seems okay even with 2 coats didn’t last terribly long on concrete. Doesn’t look the best even with careful meticulous application. Okay I would say. Won’t be buying again simply for the cost vs value. Definitely did lengthen the life of my boots but at the cost of looks, time to install. Not sure it lengthened the life long enough to be worth it

Used it to toes on work boots lasted about two years

I walk about 200 kms a month on gravel country roads. I wear out the front of expensive hiking boots, some within 6 months. It's where the sole meets the front of the boots. I've tried 3 other products to patch up the holes in the front of my boots. One product didn't even last 6 kms. Kd's has lasted about 60kms up to now. There's a video to help with the installation and it's easy peasy. Kd's will add years of wear to my hiking boots. The repair doesn't even show. The price is really reasonable and you don't have to break in another pair of boots. Thanks Kd ! .....and Tina

There’s lots of product and used dobbers and they work well. I let each coat dry for 24 hours and should be every day. Each coat made the cover better.

Lasted about 8 weeks and it wore put on the toe. When it was new it felt like a hard resin but after a few months its soft, it peels at the edges and i can tare at it with my fingers. For what I paid i was dissapointed

I've used similar products in the past. Upon applying this one seemed very runny, but once it hardened it seems to be very good. Hoping that being more runny will end up better as it was able to seep into a few cracks in my boot. Have not used it in wet conditions yet, but seems to have worked very well. March 2022 update - been in deep water with my boots a lot now, and no more leaks! Product works great, and I can't even peel it off if I try. Very good adhesion to hard toe rubber boots.
