LeapFrog LeapStart Learn to Read Volume 1

Bought this for my preschool son for Christmas and he loves it. The interactive books keep him engaged while helping him learn letter sounds and early reading skills. It’s easy for him to use independently and feels like a fun, screen-free way to learn. Great educational gift for preschoolers!

Books fit LeapStart System. I bought them for my daughter for Christmas, she’s going to love them. They are beautifully colored. They are fun, easy to use. All these books are a little expensive.

The leapfrog products are very good

This series of books is great for my almost-Kindergartner, who really likes being able to "read" on her own. Some others mentioned installation being tricky, but I had no issues installing it using my Mac, as long as you have a USB-C adapter and make sure you change the systems settings, but the installation process walks you through it really pretty straightforwardly. Hoping to get some good use out of these!

The books have to be downloaded onto the leapreader with requires a computer and creating an account for leap. The voice that reads aloud is very monotone and its difficult to get the leapreader to break the word down n sound out each syllable.

I have been reading these with my son nightly and he also uses the leapfrog tool when not with me to work through some of the harder words. Such a great product and very functional. Has helped my son read with confidence.
