I love this book. It's a great tool for group development. It is divided into chapters by purpose, for example: ice breakers to get to know each other, as opposed to communication activities to improve communication skills.

Been Useful!
I run a team of about 25-30 volunteers in my ministry and this little book has given me some great ideas to use with them and even with my congregation.

overall good material
Many of the activities are relevant to multiple ages and settings. So far- a lot of fun for our groups. Depth of debriefing is somewhat lacking as many of the exercises dont lend themselves to a lot of discussion.

There are some simple and fun games that promote teamwork. It helps make a meeting of a mixture of girls and boys more fun!

Slight disappointment
I brought this book in hopes of using it with my book club to change up our meetings a little bit. But I have not found one game, icebreaker or challenge in the book that I would introduce to the members. Oh well at least a few of the games gave me some ideas and I will get creative and add my own to it.

Good tool for retreats
If you are planning a team building retreat there are definitely activities in this book worth considering to help teams move forward on issues such as communications, trust, etc.
