Works best in combination with monthly flea treatment
Fast acting and Great on flea Infestation. However, it only works on adult fleas and doesn't kill the eggs. This is what you need to know to be satisfied with this product. I use this in conjunction with monthly flea treatment. I first give to my dog, with 30 min to 1 hr. Bath dog in fea shampoo. Treat yard, patio, wash dog bedding and spray with flea spray after the drying cycle. I also spray down the house. Yes you need to do all this especially right before flea season. Some have commented the their dog continues to scratch however you need to understand that they will because they have flea bites all over their body. Think of it like this, getting bit by a mosquito and you scratch and scratch. The saliva of the fleas and or mosquitoes causes you to itch until it heals or you put some kind of soothing ointment, lotion or medication on it. Therefore, I will bath my dog once more in an oatmeal shampoo with in the week. Then I will give another pill 48hrs later then save the rest just in case there is another infestation. This product work well and great in combination of monthly flea treatment that also kills eggs and treat for mosquitoes

This stuff is the only thing that gets rid of fleas in the country
I have two small house dogs, both around 12 lbs, and this is the only thing that gets rid of fleas. For others out there who think this is a bit expensive, as I do, here's my solution to that. I buy the large dog package. I take each pill and cut it into 4 pieces, first in half, then each half in half. I give a quarter to each dog every 36 hours. From my experience, I can go a bit longer than 24 hours with it, but not a full 48. The fleas will be back. So 8pm on Tuesday, then 8 am on Thursday. I hope that helps people on here. Fleas are something I absolutely can't stand, and this does the trick. The package lasts me around 15 days. I didn't figure it out exactly, but more that 12 days by giving it every 36 hours. Oh, and on a side note, I cut each pill into 6 pieces for cats. 6 cats a day or 3 every 15ish days, you get the idea. This is more expensive than the liquid on the neck, but those just do not work for me.*One thing to add*if you wait longer than 36 hours to give the pill, I've noticed that for the first half hour or so, the fleas seem to go crazy and bite the dogs more. That means it working. There are people on here that say it doesn't work, but this has been the only thing I can think of that they are misinterpreting. It will work. Then just stay on top of it, and you won't have the episodes of crazy itching.

Instant flea relief
I don’t understand some of these negative reviews complaining about it only lasts 24 hours. When we had a “bad” flea infestation, the only other way I can kill 100% of the fleas on my pit bull at once is to give her a shampoo bath. Well she hates a bath. I can give her a pill inside a slice of cheese and in 30 minutes the fleas start dropping dead. The first time I tried this product I found 30 dead fleas on her blanket in the morning. Product says it is from 25 pounds to 125 pounds. As my pitbull is only 50 pounds I cut the pills in half so I actually have 12 doses. I vacuum the pet area every day and by giving her a half a pill every day she has no fleas on her. I vacuum every day in case there was a stray flea or flea eggs that haven’t hatched yet I have tried the liquid stuff that is supposed to last for 30 days and she was still loaded with fleas so the liquid stuff you put on their neck didn’t work for me. This product has kept her flea free. It’s easy to get dogs to swallow this pill, the cat version does work on cats. If you can get them to swallow it, but it’s like an act of Congress to get some of my cats to swallow the pill. White bread and tuna juice worked for some of my cats, but the dogs were so easy putting the pill in American cheese.

Actually works fast
Works great to combat a mild infestation. We could see it work pretty quickly, within hours of taking a pill there was relief. It doesn't kill eggs or larva, so retreating is necessary. I would recommend this to anyone who can't get prescription flea meds.

NOT A MONTHLY TREATMENT
Ok, I haven't tried this yet, and it's my fault for not reading every single word when ordering this product. I thought this was a MONTHLY oral treatment to prevent fleas, not just stop them in their adult cycle. So now I'm going to have to buy a secondary treatment to prevent reinfestation and have all month control and protection. But I guess it's good to have on hand in case I lapse between treatments. Still not happy about the cost to longevity, but next time I'll just have to read the box better.
