do these desintergrate over the course of the month?

yes , far as i can tell , i been using them a few moths in all my drains even the washer and tub

Does it work in a toilet?

NO I Don’t think so. They are designed to resolve in the P-trap of a drain. I am sure in a toilet they will just get flushed away

Does it really clear hair from the drains?

If you already have a problem it won’t , problem has to be resolved and sticks will maintain.

Can these be used in the washing machine?

I don’t think so the instructions lead me to believe that it takes 4 weeks or so them to desolve in a drain P-Trap. I wouldn’t put them in a washing machine
