Why is this machine higher than Wal Mart price ($389)?

Because we don’t get the same deals as Walmart does when they buy 1000? Amazon fees on this item alone are 114$ along with $70ish to ship. Not including small business overhead.

What warranty is offered and does it have a uk plug.

I bought mine refurbished but I think it has a one year warranty. No 🇬🇧 plugs.

Can this machine use 5x7 hoop?

I have this 1 and you can find hoops compatible to fit the machine BUT what I learned the hard way is this machine only can do a 4x4 stitch size no bigger. That means if you have a file that says 5x7 it will NOT work in this machine. Because it only does a 4x4

Can this machine be used for hemming jeans?

Yes, it is a combination sewing and embroidery machine.
