I’ve been using the EricX Light zinc-core wicks for my candles, and they are absolutely fantastic. They burn clean, stay centered, and give a steady, reliable flame every time. I love this wicking! It burns great for both pillar and jar candels! Only thing is that since there is a metal core that doesn't burn, sometimes you'll find the remains of it in the left over wax. I make my own candels and there is times when it is hard to thread it into the molds because the cotton pulls away from the metal core. When exposed, the metal core becomes very delicate and will break easy. Overall all tho, it's a great wicking. Ive never found metal core wicking on a spool in any local store or craft shop. This is the only seller who sells this type of wicking.

Overall a good product. I would just be mindful of the typemof wax and size candle. I tried votives and it seemed to burn too hot. Trued a 3 in that narrowed to a two inch and it or seemed bot enough. Pilar i made burned well though.

This wick works really well for the container candles I make. They do have quite a bit of smoke if you don't trim the wick in between lights though.

The zinc core does not burn away. As it gets relatively longer then the remaining wick, it causes it to tilt to the side until resting against the votive glass and leaves a large soot mark where it contacts the glass.

The wick is good, just a bit thin. Had to double the strands.
