PHF Lightweight 100% Cotton Waffle Blanket for Bed, King, Light Taupe

I will update in the future depending... I am glad I didn't purchase 6 of these at the moment. I have a Airbnb and need several blankets for guest to get if they feel cold. I had fleece/velvet and they were the worst!!! The reviews on this blanket were quite positive. I purchased 2 to start with... 1 for the unit and 1 in the laundry. I washed them first and was surprised to read the care instructions as line or air dry. In the short term rental world there is not a lot of time for line drying. I put the first one in on "low" but got nervous that it would shrink, even though it's made of preshrunk cotton (so not sure what the line dry is all about). I air/fluffed it for a long time, took it out a little damp and it's hanging on my leather recliner to finish up. I put the second one in, put it in the dryer at "low" for maybe 5-10 minutes tops, then switched the setting to air dry/fluff. That one also came out a bit less damp than the first one. I don't think 5-10minutes on low is going to kill it. Neither one seemed to have shrunk. They are, after washing, 100% softer than they were in the package. I would not rely on this as a stand alone blanket, but for an extra with a quilt I think it will work and comfortable against your skin while sleeping... and it won't have enough static electricity to charge an EV!!! I don't see it as a blanket that will get hair stuck to it as it's rather smooth and the pattern is quite nice. I got the King (the oversized king seemed a bit too large). If fit great on my 13+" mattress with plenty of overhang. The color is pretty much true to what was pictured. It was labeled "orange" but it's got sort of a mustard tone to it. It works with the golden yellow/orange the walls are painted. Not sure if they are a good value for the price at $60 each. It really depends on how they hold up. I know fleece is half the price and lasts forever and can take a dry on high, but the static and the way the hair stuck to them was awful. I am hoping these work and I will get 4 more. It doesn't look like they will "pull" or "snag". Maybe other people wrote about the outcome of putting them in the dryer. I will have to check. *********UPDATE: I have washed these a few times now. Delicate cycle, cold water (removed the agitator), put them in the dryer for about 10 minutes on medium, then switched to tumble air dry. They are holding up nicely. I ordered two more that are now on 'delay' shipping :( I was hoping to have them for Saturday. It looks like I will in the future be ordering the other two I need. Trying to pace my spending. Bottom line I would recommend these for their comfort, weight, durability (NO shrinkage) and appearance (love the weave pattern).

Not a paid review here, I really just enjoyed the blanket! I didn’t expect it to be great quality after looking at the bad reviews, but this has changed my sleeping habits by a mile. First off, since it’s breathable, I’m not taking off the comforter every ten minutes because I got too hot, and then putting them back on because I’m too cold. My thermostat went from being 68 degrees every night, to a very comfortable 72-73 with a fan. I no longer wake up freezing cold. The blanket is very soft, not scratchy like some people said. I throw it in the wash and the dryer all the time with no issues. If it shrank, I didn’t notice, but I did buy a size up in case that happened. All three cats lay on it every night and I’ve had no issues with them messing it up, I haven’t had anything caught in it either. It is very thin, so I like to sleep with a cotton sheet under it as well so I don’t get cold. Every night I’m super comfortable, even when the house is hot, it’s still a great summer blanket. I would DEF recommend this blanket.

I Love the 100% Cotton Waffle Weave products from PHF! They wash up beautifully and become softer and fluffier each time. The colors stay true, and quality is excellent, especially for the economical price! I originally ordered a king size blanket and two Euro Shams in navy. I decided they were too dark for the existing bedding I was trying to match, so I returned them and reordered the same products in Captain’s Blue. A while later, I received the following email from PHF inquiring about why I had returned the navy blanket and shams. “Dear Customer, Thank you for choosing PHF bedding products. I notice that you've returned the PHF 100% Cotton Waffle Weave Blanket King Size and Euro Shams in Dark Navy. I'm so sorry that our products don't meet your expectations. May I know the reason why you returned it? Such as, ① You don't like the material, design, color or size. Which one or several? ② You don't like the texture or touch feel. It is not soft. ③ The color is different from the picture or description on the website. ④ The measurement does not match the size description. It didn't fit. ⑤ Any other quality issues. We will solve the current problems and keep our work on developing better products with your help. Thank you in advance.” I was flabbergasted! In this day and age where customer service seems to have fallen by the wayside, I truly appreciate the fact that PHF cares about the products they sell. Case in point, the duvet pictured with the Captain’s Blue blanket and shams was originally meant to be a $300 quilt that I ordered from P------ B---. It was of such poor quality that I returned it and complained about the quality. Unfortunately, I never heard back from P------ B---. I ended up ordering two tablecloths in the same pattern and crafted my own duvet out of them.

I LOVE this blanket. Not just like, I LOVE it. It is the most beautiful blanket I own, hands down. The color is rich and the weave is so gorgeous. I had to dock a star for the size though because once it's through the wash, there isn't a whole lot of drape on my king bed. I wash it on cold and dry it on low so I'm not going out of my way to shrink it or anything. For the love of all that's holy, can someone please make a cotton blanket for a king sized bed that actually drapes over the bed by at least 10 inches on each side? I want to show this gorgeous blanket off, but because it is a little short on the sides (the drape is about 4 inches on both sides), I have to use a coverlet on top otherwise it would look weird. If it was bigger, it would be so perfect and it would be the stunning focal point of my bed. Now, as for softness, it is pretty soft for a cotton blanket. If you are buying cotton, you know what you're getting into. It's not fleece soft, but this blanket is cotton soft. As I said, the weave is amazing and my cats don't even snag it with their claws. I don't know what black magic is at work here, but the cats knead it and play on it and nothing has snagged at all. It does leave fluff in the lint trap of the dryer but I don't think it's all that bad. I have seen much worse with other cotton blankets I've bought. I would buy more of these to switch up the look of my bed from time to time in a heartbeat, but that size issue really makes it a waste of time to do so since I have it in the middle of blankets not on top, and all you see is a few inches when I fold it down on top of the coverlet. I wish I could give this 5 stars because the beauty of this blanket really deserves it. I suggest that if you have a full or queen sized bed you go up a size to king so you can really show it off. You're going to want to!

I absolutely love this blanket! The color is even more beautiful in person—rich, vibrant, and exactly what I was hoping for. The texture is wonderful, with a soft, cozy feel that makes it perfect for curling up on the couch or adding an extra layer to the bed. What really impressed me was how well it held up after washing. It came out looking just as good as new with no shrinking, or fading. And let me tell you about the edges....I know, a minor detail, but sometimes it's the little things that matter, right? I was so pleasantly surprised to find the edges of this blanket are so soft and supple, buttery soft - they are amazing and were just a nice bonus on a blanket I already loved. Icing on the cake. The only thing that would take this blanket even higher would be the size. While it does technically cover my king size bed (not cal king) it leaves one side lacking - I wish it were a little larger. The extra large, to me should be standard. I mean no one orders blankets to cover only the time of their beds, we want them draping on both sides, enough to at least cover the mattress, am I right? However, the look, quality and feel of this blanket is so good that I will be ordering another for sure. This blanket exceeded my expectations in every way. Beautiful color, excellent texture, great durability, and wonderfully soft.

This is the best summer blanket I’ve ever had. 100% cotton, breathable, quality material, washes up well, looks high end. It provides enough weight with a lot of coolness. I can feel the air from my fan flow through this blanket which is a dream for me. Pun intended. 120x120 is the only size blanket that provides two king size bed sleepers with maximum blanket real estate as well as touch the floor on both sides and also has room to fold down near the pillows. Highly recommend this product!

Nice cotton throw. Soft and washes well. I even threw it in the dryer on low for 30 mins and no shrinkage. I will order more as they are nice quality and great for an extra blanket

The blanket feels great and the color is beautiful, but it shrunk like crazy when I washed it. Washed in cold and dried on the lowest heat. I bought the Twin size, which says it's 60" x 90" - it came out of the dryer about 52" x 80". It's still long enough to sleep with, but not nearly wide enough to keep me covered while I move in my sleep. So it's pretty useless for sleeping with, which is why I bought it. I didn't need another couch blanket, I wanted a light weight blanket with some substance to sleep under this summer. It feels the way I wanted it to, so I might still buy a bigger one when I have money again, but I'm annoyed by it shrinking so much, and annoyed that I'm obviously going to have to air dry it if I get a new one. I have other cotton blankets that haven't shrunk like this; this company obviously doesn't pre-shrink their fabric and it results in the customer losing 10" of blanket all around.

I'm one of those people who overheat under any duvet, so I've switched to having a top sheet and 2 of these cotton bedspreads I can fold over as needed. They're wonderful, I'm not overheating at all. I think they'd also work well if you're generally warm enough but need an extra layer over your feet/legs. They look lovely (I love the different colour options) and they don't catch and leave you with ugly loose threads like the looser knit ones do. They also wash well and dry quickly.

Soft light blanket and keeps my legs warm in the evening. Easy to wash and quick to dry.

This blanket is luxurious- soft, rich, though light enough to use cozying up on the couch on a summer night. It looks beautiful draped over an armchair- I was quite surprised by how lovely it appears. I had planned to keep it in storage under my coffee table, but now I leave it out because it's so pretty and adds some nice texture to the room. I will be buying a second one.
