No!!! It’s loafer. Loafer shoes is light, soft, comfortable. It’s rubber sole. Rubber don’t make a noise when we walk. Don’t worry. Just buy and enjoy them!!!

Are these waterproof?

I have not fully tested to see if they are waterproof. However, I live in Seattle and they have held up really well in the rain so far.

Which is the best colour of socks to wear with those shoes?

I don't wear socks with them. I wear the black trouser socks. They are more like a knee high hose. With my brown pair, I wear brown trouser socks. Love these shoes.

Is this nonslip resistant shoes?

They do have rubber soles but a smooth surface so not as slip resistant as Merrell shoes. I really love them though. Super comfortable when standing long hours.
