Perfect for baby's first Hannukah
I bought this book for my granddaughter who will be celebrating the holidays with us. It's has wonderful pictures of all the special items that we need for the celebration ( dreidels, latkes, menorah, etc.) that she'll find hidden on each page. She'll love the book and learn so much. Can't wait to read it to her.

The kids love this book!
I bought this book for my 2 year old granddaughter for Chanukah 5 years ago. She and her younger sister still love the it. I bought it again this year for another 3 year old granddaughter and her 11 month old brother. They also love it. Despite it's simplicity, it seems timeless. It's sweet and colorful, and they love the lift-up pages, even though they know what's under them. They just never seem to get bored or tired of this book. In fact, all of Karen Katz's lift the flap books are wonderful. I highly recommend them.

Great book for a young child
It is adorable and not religious yet introduces the young child to Chanukah. Great art work.

Engaging and well constructed.
According to my grandson, this book is so much fun. At 2 years old he got the concept of opening the flaps carefully so as not to tear them off, but he still has toddler fingers... and they have held up well. I read it to him twice, and after that he “read” it to himself, over and over, telling himself the story out loud. Chanukah may be long over, but he hasn’t tired of it yet.
