Works great with digital OTA antenna
Ok, I mistakenly thought the digital signal from digital OTA (Over the Air) antennas could not be split, and you had to buy an antenna for every TV. Not so. Iโve connected four TVs to one antenna with this splitter. It looks just like the splitters from the 1970s - maybe it is the same. It will supposedly work with analog signals, but we donโt have any analog TV stations in this area. It should work with TV cables too, but I donโt subscribe to any TV cables. What I can say is that this simple device will split the digital OTA TV signals so that you can use 2-4 TVs (or recorders) with one powered antenna. We get 25 digital stations, over the air, for free, on 4 TVs, using one antenna in our attic. Weโre about 25 miles from a big city. Also, you can watch different channels, on different TVs, simultaneously. There is probably a small signal strength loss when using a splitter like this, but fortunately we get the same number of stations on our four bedroom TVs sharing one antenna, as we get from our main TV with its own (not split) antenna. So the signal loss must be very small. Also, be aware that modern TVs usually have a software search feature which you must run to โsearchโ for and โfindโ your local OTA TV stations and/or cable channels. Usually found somewhere in your TVโs โSettingsโ menu, and takes 1-5 minutes to run. You only need to run this routine once for initial setup, and the TV then remembers the stations. You may want to re-run the search occasionally in case new stations open in your area or old stations close - or if you move the antenna to a new location, or if you move to a new home. Also, like the good old days, most OTA stations have commercials - no tobacco ads, but lots of personal injury lawyers and My Pillow sales pitches. :-)

It worked as designed
I use to split the signal of my attic antenna to 4 TVs in different rooms, all TVs get a great signal. I gave 4 stars because the price could be cheaper. It works and you wonโt be disappointed if you use it for over the air antenna.

Great signal quality and solid build
This GE 4โway coaxial splitter works exactly as advertised. The build quality feels sturdy, and the connections are tight and reliable. After installing it, all my devices received a clean, stable signal with no noticeable loss in picture quality. It handles highโfrequency ranges well, making it a dependable choice for HD TVs, cable boxes, and internet equipment. Excellent performance and great value for anyone needing a durable splitter.

A perfect signal splitter to send an un-amplified signal to 3 TV's within my house
A perfect signal splitter. I have one of these splitters connected by one inexpensive coax cable to a cheap chimney mounted antenna. This splitter, splits the un-amplified signal to 3 TV's in separate rooms and 1 stereo system for the FM antenna reception. It has absolutely zero issues with receiving a clean picture on all of my TV's after the signal has been split 3 ways with this splitter. I am in Southern California and I would certainly purchase this product again if I needed another.

OTA install
So like many these days...I'm cutting the cord with cable/satellite and going streaming services and OTA antenna. To my surprise..I discovered a beautiful, big antenna installed in the attic from previous owners. I read I could use the satellite wiring that is already installed for the OTA signal. Unhooked all the satellite wires going to the dish and plugged in my rg6 from antenna to that green 4 way splitter. The signal did indeed make it to the TV's. Unfortunately the runs are super long and I was getting substantial pixelation. Tried an amplifier and it actually got worse. To make a long story short after much trial and error I found that the splitter was my problem. Ordered this ge branded one and hooked it all up. It's perfect now. I'm 25 miles from towers and that attic antenna is showing full signal strength on almost all available channels. It's a very low loss splitter compared to others. No need for amplifier or repositioning antenna which is actually installed beautifully in the attic totally backwards. But hey it works. Love this simple little splitter from ge.

Fake functionality
Functions mentioned on web are not real or working; the signal is lost once you connect two cables out (not even the 4); no difference than the cheapest splitters. Shame on GE.
