SIMPLIHOME Harrison 36" Wide Vegan Leather Lift Top Ottoman in Saddle Brown

Arrived yesterday and it’s great! Very happy with this purchase. Assembly was easy (just add the legs) and it was ready to go. The tufted top is better than expected and saddle brown color is very nice. The table top and storage area are a good size and easy to lift up. Very solidly built. Also very impressed with how well it was packaged for delivery.

I love this ottoman. It has a large storage area inside, and the one side of it pulls up very easily with barely a touch of your hand, and the same going down back in place. It is very nicely made, and does not look cheap at all. No assembly just screw four legs on and Voila your all done. The fabric is pretty and shiny. it seems like it’s gonna be very easy to wipe off with a damp cloth. It is quite firm which works well for sitting a tray table on it when one side is pulled up to a table or left flat as in picture. I plan to use a soft pillow to make it more comfortable for my feet. I bought it so that I can eat on it, and use my computer. I definitely recommend this product to dress up your living room or den. It’s perfect for me! Great quality for a cheap ottoman! Great storage area and pull-up table great feature. Lots of tabletop area for snacks! Ready for football season!

We recently purchased a SimpliHome storage ottoman in the red faux leather covering. It looks great in our space and has loads of storage capacity. Assembly was easy - just had to screw on the legs. The reason we give 4 instead of 5 stars is the quality isn’t quite up to par. The ottoman has two lids, one that swings open, and one that pops up (presumably so you can use the lid as a flat surface). I’d prefer both lids just swung open, since the pop up one doesn’t extend up high enough for you to sit on your furniture and have room to fit your legs under the raised lid (see pic). We also found a small hole in the upholstery on one of the lids (see pic). The packing box wasn’t damaged, so this appears to be a manufacturing defect. We contacted the manufacturer, SimpliHome, hoping to be able to get a replacement lid. SimpliHome responded quickly, but were unable to help. They only accept returns if you’ve purchased directly from them; and while they will provide replacement parts (hinges, feet, etc.), the lid is not a part they will replace. We decided to just live with the defect, rather than hassle with returning such an unwieldy item to Amazon. So, overall what we got fits our needs, but the quality is aligned with the bargain price point.

[Update Dec. 2025: After owning this ottoman almost 4 years, I stand by every word of this review. Absolutely still love it! It has held up beautifully and still looks new.] We have had this ottoman over 7 months now and love it as much as the day we got it. It arrived fully assembled; we only had to attach the feet. It is a sturdy piece of furniture, yet light weight and easy to scooch closer to the sofa when needed. Our former ottoman required every ounce of my strength to move! While my kids have outgrown jumping on the furniture, I imagine this ottoman could hold up under the strain of a small child treating it like a trampoline. Our dogs occasionally jump on the ottoman (when they forget they're not supposed to) and have yet to leave any scratches on the fabric! We have used the top of this ottoman as a seat, a game table, a snack table, and a footrest during movie nights. It has two generous storage spaces under the lids -- enough for multiple throws. (I'd guesstimate you could put 4- 6 throw blankets per side.) One of the best features is the "lift top table". It has held up well so far, though my family gets the occasional reminder not to put their full weight on it when the table is engaged -- it just seems like the logical consequence of doing that would damage the hinges. I particularly like that the lids are split, and storage is divided, so you can still keep your feet propped up on one side of the ottoman (or a game board in place) while someone opens the other side to grab a blanket. You could easily store multiple puzzles, games and chess boards on one side, and blankets on the other. In additional to the sturdiness, functionality, and design of this piece, it is a pretty piece of furniture. I love the fabric, and the color matches our space well!

This is the second one of these we've bought. The first one lasted about four years with two kids constantly beating it up. It would probably last longer without kids. The storage area is great. Looks fantastic.

Nice ottoman. Bought it for the size and the storage. It came assembled in one piece, which was nice. All I had to do was screw on the little feet. The material may or may not hold up, but I bought it for my labrador, so I'll be keeping a thick blanket on top of it to preserve it. It is sturdy and stable. Got a good deal on Prime Day.

Love it! Came intact and in perfect condition, everything is already assembled to my relief, only thing you need to do is screw on the legs! We got this to replace an old one as our baby is crawling now and getting into things and sharp corners. This was perfect, has storage so I can de clutter and is soft so there’s a smaller risk of injury. It’s very sturdy and well made and doubles as a foot rest, the lift top option is wonderful because mommy and daddy can use it to eat on now!

Only assembly was screwing the 4 legs on. Everything else is assembled. I ordered the stone grey and was extremely happy with the color. Matches the decor perfectly. The lift up portion works excellent no issues. I was worried about the size that the height was too low for my furniture but once assembled it looks awesome! I highly recommend this table.

The ottoman is a life saver and a must have. It’s stylish and looks/feels like real leather. It comes assembled (minus screwing on the legs) so there is no hassle. It’s great to rest your feet on, add decor or use as a desk/table. I am so so happy I got it and definitely recommend it

I love the functionality of this ottoman, attractive looking. The only issue I have is the top on one side does not lay flat.

The colour I ordered (Fawn Brown) is a bit lighter than I expected, based on the photos. It is a little more beige in person, less brown. I’m still very happy with my ottoman - love the storage and lift tray. I have it on an area rug so I added some furniture sliders under the legs for when my dog (inevitably) loses toys under it.
